Dybbølsbro Station
Dybbølsbro is a central S-train station in Copenhagen, Denmark. History The station opened on 1 November 1934 when S-train service was extended from København H to Valby. A fourth platform was inaugurated in 2009. Platforms The four platforms are located under Dybbølsbro, a viaduct connecting Kalvebod Brygge and Havneholmen with the rest of Vesterbro across the railway tracks. They are accessed from the bridge with stairs or lifts. Bus station There is as of 2020 not any proper bus station for scheduled long-distance buses. They stop at a sidewalk on Ingerslevsgade, a street between Dybbølsbro and the København H. In March 2020 the city decided to build a bus station near Dybbølsbro station. See also: List of Copenhagen S-train lines There are 86 stations that are operated in normal operation on the Copenhagen S-train, an urban rail network which serves the Copenhagen metropolitan area in Denmark. The stations are located on six suburban radial routes - A, B, Bx, C, E, H, and a ring line ( F). Forty-six are elevated, twenty-one are street level, fifteen are below street, four have different levels and one is underground. Of the 84 stations, are 32 located inside the four one-figured ticket fare zones, and another 35 stations are located within the Copenhagen Urban area. 17 stations can be said to be located in suburbs.According to the Danish map book "Kraks kort- København & Omergn 2011" ("Krak's Maps Copenhagen & surroundings 2011"), S-train section, p. 324-325, Lines E and H do not operate during weekends and nights. Kalvebod Brygge
Kalvebod Brygge (literally "Kalvebod Quay") is a waterfront area in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The name also refers to a section of the Ring 2 ring road which follows the waterfront from Langebro in the north to the H. C. Ørsted Power Station in the south. The area is dominated by office buildings, Tivoli Conference Center, several hotels and the shopping centre Fisketorvet. The southern part of the area, south of Bernstoffsgade, is to the west bounded by an extensive railway terrain, a section of which is now under redevelopment into a linear park with scattered buildings and a super bikeway, which will ultimately provide a greenway between the city centre and the South Harbour. The northern part of the road, northeast of Bernstoffsgade, belongs to the Indre By district. The S-Bahn is the name of hybrid urban-suburban rail systems serving a metropolitan region in German-speaking countries. Vesterbro is one of the 15 administrative, statistical, and city tax districts (''bydele'') comprising the municipality of Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers an area of 3.76 km², and has a population of 51,466 and a population density of 13,688 per km². Havneholmen
Havneholmen (literally "The Harbour Isle") is a mixed-use development located on reclaimed land off Kalvebod Brygge in the harbor of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located just east of the shopping centre Fisketorvet from which it is separated by a narrow canal, although it is annexed to mainland Kalvebod Brygge at its southern end. Havneholmen is connected to Islands Brygge on the other side of the harbor by Brygge Bridge, a foot and cycling bridge. Tømmergraven Canal separates it from Enghave Brygge to the south. Construction The area was formerly known as Kalvebod Pladsvej and was an industrial site. The plan for its redevelopment was adopted by the City in 2003. Valby Station
Valby station is an S-train and railway station in the Valby district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is one of the most used stations, and hence regional trains also stop here. It is located in a highly populated area, where the Tåstrup and Frederikssund radials of the S-train network diverge, and is served by trains on or from either radial. All regional and some intercity trains also stop at Valby. Several express buses to Jutland terminate and depart from this station. There are two island platforms plus one track extra, for the S-trains towards Ballerup and (further out) Frederikssund. S-trains in direction to Copenhagen City Centre, Høje Taastrup and Ballerup/Frederikssond uses one track each. Ingerslevsgade
Ingerslevsgade is a street in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It begins on the rear side of Copenhagen Central Station and follows the northwest side of the railway tracks to Enghave station. It also passes the Dybbølsbro station where Dybbøl Bridge connects it to Kalvebod Brygge and Havneholmen, Copenhagen on the other side of the railway tracks. The street is named after the politician Hans Peter Ingerslev, who was involved in the construction of the Free Port of Copenhagen.
