Dvadeset Prvi Vijek
Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 in Dublin, Ireland. Davorin Popović represented Bosnia and Herzegovina with the song "Dvadeset prvi vijek". They finished on 19th place out of 23 countries with 14 points. Before Eurovision BH Eurosong 1995 The final was held on 8 March 1995 at the Bosnian TV Studios in Sarajevo, hosted by Ismeta Krvavac. Davorin Popović sang all the songs and the winner was chosen by an "expert" jury. Initially there was a tie between "Dvadeset i prvi vijek" and "Bez tebe" so the "expert" jury had to vote again between these two songs. Eventually, "Dvadeset i prvi vijek" was declared the winner. At Eurovision Davorin Popović performed 4th on the night of the contest, following Germany and preceding eventual winners Norway. Davorin Popović
Davorin Popović (23 September 1946 – 18 June 2001) was a Bosnian singer and songwriter, born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was well known throughout the former Yugoslavia. He was the lead singer and frontman of the progressive rock, progressive and pop rock band Indexi throughout most of their career. He and his band "Indexi" became founders of specific music style in former Yugoslavia known as "Sarajevo pop-rock school" who later influenced other bands and singers in Sarajevo and other parts of Yugoslavia. Personally, he was popularly associated with the 1960s Bohemianism, bohemian lifestyle of Sarajevo. In his youth, he was a successful basketball player. During his career, he earned nicknames including "Pimpek", "Davor", "Dačo" or simply "Pjevač" (''The Singer'') due to his unique voice. Sinan Alimanović
Sinan Alimanović (born 11 February 1954) is a Bosnian jazz pianist, organist, composer, conductor, arranger and educator. Biography Sinan Alimanović has worked with American and European jazz musicians such as Randy Brecker, Harvie S, Duško Gojković, Erich Kleinschuster, Alex Blake, Victor Lewis, Barbara Hendricks, Gianni Basso, Aladar Pege, Vaclav Zahradnik, Lee Harper, Csaba Deseo, Jim Mullen, Robert Balzar, Jože Privšek, Miljenko Prohaska, Tony Lakatos, Tony Fisher, Ladislav Fidri, Stjepko Gut, Petar Ugrin, Bobby Sanabria and many others. Sinan Alimanović studied at the Academy of Music in Skopje, Priština, and Sarajevo. Edo Mulahalilović
Edo Mulahalilović (; born 23 March 1964 – 27 June 2010) was a Bosnians, Bosnian songwriter and producer. Bosnia And Herzegovina In The Eurovision Song Contest
Bosnia and Herzegovina has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 19 times since making its debut in 1993, after coming second in the qualification round "Kvalifikacija za Millstreet". Prior to 1993, Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the Eurovision Song Contest as part of Yugoslavia. Bosnia and Herzegovina's best result was in 2006, when Hari Mata Hari finished third with the song " Lejla". This remains the country's only top five result in the contest.
