Dursun Özbek
Dursun Aydın Özbek (born 25 March 1949) is a Turkish businessman and 36th and 39th club president of Turkish multi-disciplined sports club Galatasaray S.K. Career Özbek was a member of board of directors and vice-president during previous president Duygun Yarsuvat until 2014. Collecting the majority of voting cast with 2,800 votes, Dursun Özbek was elected as the 36th president of Galatasaray S.K. following the ordinary general assembly taking place on 23 May 2015. He was defeated by challenger Mustafa Cengiz in the election held on 20 January 2018. On 12 June 2022, Özbek was re-elected as the 39th President of the club, after a tight contention against the other candidate Eşref Hamamcıoğlu, prevailing with a narrow difference of 156 votes in total of 4,459 given. Burak Elmas (born 19 March 1974) is a Turkish businessman who was the 38th president of sports club Galatasaray S.K. Family He was born on 19 March 1974, in Şişli, Istanbul, as the son of Sezgin and Saniye Elmas. He has two sister named Burçin Elmas and Burçak Elmas Deniz. He is from Giresun on his father's side. He married Yelda Süren, the daughter of businessman Faruk Süren, one of the former Galatasaray presidents. The 2014–15 Süper Lig (known as the Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons) was the 57th season of the Süper Lig, the highest tier Association football, football league of Turkey. The season was named after former Beşiktaş J.K., Beşiktaş club president Süleyman Seba, who died in 2014. Teams Elazığspor, Antalyaspor and Kayserispor were relegated at the end of the 2013–14 season after finishing in the bottom three places of the standings. The 2015–16 Eurocup Basketball season was the 14th season of Euroleague Basketball's secondary level professional club basketball tournament, and the eighth season since it was renamed from the ULEB Cup to the Eurocup. The 2016 Turkish Super Cup ( Turkish: TFF Süper Kupa) was the 43rd edition of the Turkish Super Cup since its establishment as ''Presidential Cup'' in 1966, the annual Turkish football season-opening match contested by the winners of the previous season's top league and cup competitions (or cup runner-up in case the league- and cup-winning club is the same).
