Dundee East was a Scottish Parliament constituencies and electoral regions, constituency of the Scottish Parliament (Scottish Parliament Building, Holyrood). It elected one Member of the Scottish Parliament, Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) by the first past the post method of election. The Scottish Parliament ( gd, Pàrlamaid na h-Alba ; sco, Scots Pairlament) is the devolved, unicameral legislature of Scotland. Located in the Holyrood area of the capital city, Edinburgh, it is frequently referred to by the metonym Holyrood. Dundee East is a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (at Westminster). Perth and Kinross ( sco, Pairth an Kinross; gd, Peairt agus Ceann Rois) is one of the 32 council areas of Scotland and a Lieutenancy Area.
