Dudhkoshi
Mapya Dudhkoshi ( ne, माप्य दुधकोशी गाउँपालिका) is a rural municipality (gaunpalika) out of seven rural municipality located in Solukhumbu District of Province No. 1 of Nepal. There are a total of 8 municipalities in Solukhumbu in which 1 is urban and 7 are rural. According to Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Developme Mapya Dudhkoshi has an area of and the total population of the municipality is 13414 as of Census of Nepal 2011. Part of Jubing, Basa, Kaku and Baku which previously were all separate Village development committee merged to form this new local level body. Fulfilling the requirement of the new Constitution of Nepal 2015, Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development replaced all old VDCs and Municipalities into 753 new local level body (Municipality). Solukhumbu District
Solukhumbu District ( ne, सोलुखुम्बु जिल्ला , Sherpa: , Wylie: shar khum bu dzong) is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. As the name suggests, it consists of the subregions Solu and Khumbu. The district, with Salleri as its headquarters, covers an area of and had a population 107,686 in 2001 and 105,886 in 2011. Mount Everest is in the northern part of this district, within Sagarmatha National Park. History Historically, Solukhumbu was part of Kirata Kingdoms in early and medieval era. Jubing
Jubing was a village development committee in Solukhumbu District in the Sagarmatha Zone of north-eastern Nepal. It was divided and merged into two new formed Rural municipality in 2017 when the old administrative structures were reconstructed. Ward no. 2, 3, 4 and 6 were incorporated with Dudhkoshi rural municipality and remaining all wards 1, 5, 7, 8 and 9 were incorporated with Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality. Nepal conducted a widespread national census in 2011 by the Nepal Central Bureau of Statistics. Cities and towns in Nepal are Municipal corporation, incorporated under municipality. A municipality in Nepal is a sub-unit of a district. Constitution of Nepal 2015 ( ne, नेपालको संविधान २०७२) is the present governing Constitution of Nepal. Nepal is governed according to the Constitution which came into effect on 20 September 2015, replacing the Interim Constitution of 2007. A village development committee ( ne, गाउँ विकास समिति; ''gāum̐ vikās samiti'') in Nepal was the lower administrative part of its Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development.
