The Dublin Junior Hurling championship is the Junior Gaelic Athletic Association hurling competition of Dublin. The winners of the Junior championship go on to qualify for the Dublin Intermediate Hurling Championship in the following year. Ballyboden St Enda's (''CLG Baile Buadáin Naomh Éanna'' in Irish) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Knocklyon, South Dublin, Ireland. Naomh Maur is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Rush, Dublin, Ireland. The club was founded in 1928. History Naomh Maur G.A.A. club is based in Rush, Fingal, North County Dublin. Rush is a farming and market gardening area, seventeen miles from Dublin City. Football was played in the area between local Parish Teams prior to the foundation of the G.A.A. in 1884. It is believed that a Club called "Emerald Isles" existed 1900, but there are no records to support this. After an unsuccessful attempt to set up a Club between 1914 and 1919, local Curate Fr. Skeehan organised football games in the local school. In 1928, two Gardaí, Tom MacCarville and Peter Fallon, who were stationed in Rush, and local G.A.A enthusiast Mick Jones called a meeting. It was founded in 1893, named after the recently deceased Charles Stewart Parnell, and at that time was known as Parnell Volunteers. History Faughs GAA Club was founded in Easter 1885, "under the big tree" in the Phoenix Park in Dublin. Kilmacud Crokes ( ir, Cill Mochuda Na Crócaigh) is a large Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Stillorgan, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Background Kilmacud GAA club was formed in 1959 following a historic public meeting in Saint Laurence's Hall, where Stillorgan shopping centre now stands. The first meeting of the club took place on 12 March 1959. Sixty people attended the meeting and donated a shilling each, meaning the club made IR£3.30 on the night.
