Drop Everything
''Drop Everything'' is a 1985 album by Polish rock band Lady Pank. The record was the first and the only album the band recorded in English and was aimed at international markets, being released in United States, UK, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. ''Drop Everything'' was also released in Poland through a Polish record company called Klub Płytowy Razem. All song featured on the album were originally released in 1983 on the band's debut album Lady Pank. ''Drop Everything'' features original instrumental tracks from Lady Panks debut effort with the original vocal tracks replaced by a rerecorded English version. A music video for "Minus Zero" was made. The video was shot in Jersey City, New Jersey and is the first music video by a Polish artist to ever appear on MTV. Lady Pank
Lady Pank is a popular Polish rock band, started in 1981 in Wrocław by Jan Borysewicz and Andrzej Mogielnicki. One of the most popular groups in history of Polish rock. Its first hit was ''Mała Lady Punk'' ("Little Lady Punk"). MCA Records was an American record label owned by MCA Inc., which later became part of Universal Music Group. Pre-history MCA Inc., a powerful talent agency and a television production company, entered the recorded music business in 1962 with the purchase of the New York-based US Decca Records (established in 1934), including Coral Records and Brunswick Records. Potetball (also known as ball, klubb, kumle, komle, kompe, raspeball) is a traditional Norwegian potato dumpling. A similar German dish is called '' Kartoffelklöße''. The main ingredient is peeled potatoes, which are grated or ground up and mixed with flour, usually Barley or wheat, to make the balls stick together. Jan Józef Borysewicz (born April 17, 1955) is the co-founder and guitar player of Lady Pank, a Polish rock band. He composed all but two of their songs. Borysewicz was born in Wrocław. In the 1970s, he played for Izabela Trojanowska and Budka Suflera Budka Suflera (, " prompter's box") was a Polish rock band which was started in 1969 in Lublin by Krzysztof Cugowski.
