Drive (Scott Grimes Album)
''Drive'' is the debut EP by American actor/singer/songwriter Scott Grimes, released in 2010. History ''Drive'' is the follow-up to his 2005 release, ''Livin' on the Run''. His first release was the 1989 A&M album ''Scott Grimes''. This album features songs written during many personal changes for the writing team of Scott Grimes and Dave Harris. Both men, having gone through divorces in 2006, used that experience as the backbone of this release. Songs like "Back into You", "Waiting" and "What Love Is" reflect a somber tone, while others like "Hide", "Corner Pub" and "Soon I Will Be Found" are tongue-in-cheek and fun to listen to. One of the album's highlights is the last track, "(I Don’t Wanna) Let You Go" which Grimes & Harris co-wrote with Julian Lennon and John Spinks (musician), John Spinks of the Outfield. Music and lyrics ''Drive'', musically and lyrically is a slight departure from Grimes' previous album ''Livin' on the Run'' which was more rock-oriented. ''Drive'' is a ...

Soft Rock
Soft rock is a form of rock music that originated in the late 1960s in Southern California and the United Kingdom which smoothed over the edges of singer-songwriter and pop rock, relying on simple, melodic songs with big, lush productions. Soft rock was prevalent on the radio throughout the 1970s and eventually metamorphosed into a form of the synthesized music of adult contemporary in the 1980s. History Mid- to late 1960s Softer sounds in rock music could be heard in mid-1960s songs, such as " A Summer Song" by Chad & Jeremy (1964) and "Here, There and Everywhere" by the Beatles and "I Love My Dog" by Cat Stevens, both from 1966. By 1968, hard rock had been established as a mainstream genre. From the end of the 1960s, it became common to divide mainstream rock music into soft and hard rock, with both emerging as major radio formats in the US. Late 1960s soft rock artists include the Bee Gees, whose song "I Started a Joke" was a number one single in several countries; Ne ...

John Spinks (musician)
John Frederick Spinks (28 November 1953 − 9 July 2014) was an English songwriter and musician. He was best known as the guitarist and songwriter for The Outfield. Early life and career John Spinks was born on the East End of London in November 1953. Spinks, Tony Lewis, and Alan Jackman first played together in the 1970s band Sirius B. After rehearsing for six months, the group disbanded due to the advent of punk rock. In the 1980s, Spinks recorded several demos under the name Baseball Boys, a name chosen because it closely resembled a gang called The Baseball Furies from the film '' The Warriors''. "Just to be outrageous, I put what I felt was a stupid name on the demos," said Spinks, "and the people I took them to said, `Sounds great. Can we see the band?` And there wasn't really a band." Spinks joined together with Lewis and Jackman to perform as Baseball Boys, and then changed their named to The Outfield in 1984. Their debut album, ''Play Deep'', became a multiplatinum-sel ...

2010 Debut EPs
1 (one, unit, unity) is a number representing a single or the only entity. 1 is also a numerical digit and represents a single unit of counting or measurement. For example, a line segment of ''unit length'' is a line segment of length 1. In conventions of sign where zero is considered neither positive nor negative, 1 is the first and smallest positive integer. It is also sometimes considered the first of the infinite sequence of natural numbers, followed by  2, although by other definitions 1 is the second natural number, following  0. The fundamental mathematical property of 1 is to be a multiplicative identity, meaning that any number multiplied by 1 equals the same number. Most if not all properties of 1 can be deduced from this. In advanced mathematics, a multiplicative identity is often denoted 1, even if it is not a number. 1 is by convention not considered a prime number; this was not universally accepted until the mid-20th century. Additionally, 1 is the s ...
