Dave Harris
Dave Harris (born February 25, 1971) is an American disc jockey, songwriter and musician. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, United States, and hosted the syndicated radio show ''Retro Rewind'' in 1999. Harris created ''Retro Rewind'' in October 1997. In 1998 Harris briefly took a leave of absence from ''Retro Rewind'' to manage the band The Outfield. Harris is also a songwriter, having penned a Top 20 hit on the ''Billboard magazine'' adult contemporary charts in April 2005 called "Sunset Blvd (song), Sunset Blvd". Harris has also lent his songwriting talent to others. He has co-written songs with Rob Thomas (musician), Rob Thomas, Jon Secada, Julian Lennon, Michael J. Willett, Rick Springfield, John Waite, Billy Burnette, Scott Grimes, Adam Jensen and Billy Montana. In 2015, Harris formed The Dave Harris Project (featuring Michael J. Retro Rewind
Retro Rewind was an American nationally syndicated radio show hosted by Dave Harris. Retro Rewind featured music from the 80s and 90s and also the popular segment, "7 Minutes of 70s". The show usually featured interviews and sometimes performances from the artists from the time period. The show also promoted the current and latest projects from these artists. In late 1997 Dave Harris conceived the name, the idea, and concept of Retro Rewind. He launched the show nationwide across the United States in February 1998. Harris wrote and executive produced every installment of the syndicated show. In 1998, Harris took a leave of absence to serve as the manager of the band the Outfield. Harris took over hosting duties of Retro Rewind in 1999. On Saturdays, Retro Rewind aired a live show from 9:00 PM - 12:00 Midnight (US, Eastern Time), which also streams on the show's official website. Billy Montana (born William Schlappi on September 28, 1959, in Voorheesville, New York) is an American country music singer-songwriter. Between 1987 and 1995, Montana released one studio album and charted six singles on ''Billboard''s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Dorsey William Burnette III (born May 8, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee, United States) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter who was part of the band Fleetwood Mac from 1987 to 1995.
