Downtown Dubai Tramway
Dubai Trolley is a tram system in Downtown Dubai. It includes a number of trams specially designed for Emaar Properties, with an operational speed of 10 km per hour. The trolleys are double-decker and can convey 50 passengers, who can ride on the open deck or the air-conditioned seating. They convey passengers free of charge. The Dubai Trolley project was announced by Emaar Properties on 23 April 2008, with opening proposed for the end of 2009. The total cost was put at AED 500 million. The line on which the Dubai Trolleys travel will be built in three phases which will form a 7 km loop around Downtown Dubai. As of 2019, Dubai Trolley is out of operation. Dubai Metro
The Dubai Metro is a rapid transit rail network in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is currently operated by the French company Keolis. The Red Line and Green Line are operational, with a major 15 km (9.3 mi) extension to the Red Line known as Route 2020 to the Expo 2020 site announced in April 2015 and opened in 2021. These first two lines run underground in the city centre and on elevated viaducts elsewhere. All trains are fully automated and driverless, and, together with stations, are air conditioned with platform edge doors. The Dubai Tram ( ar, ترام دبي) is a tramway located in Al Sufouh, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It runs for along Al Sufouh Road from Dubai Marina to the Palm Jumeirah and Al Sufouh. The tram connects with the DMCC and Sobha Realty stations of the Dubai Metro's Red Line, and two more stations are expected to connect with the tram in the future. A fuel cell is an electrochemical cell that converts the chemical energy of a fuel (often hydrogen) and an oxidizing agent (often oxygen) into electricity through a pair of redox reactions. Single track is usually found on lesser-used rail lines, often branch lines, where the level of traffic is not high enough to justify the cost of constructing and maintaining a second track.
