Dorothea Chryst, also Dorli-Maria Chryst (born 12 August 1940) is a German operatic and operetta soprano. Leben Born in Halberstadt, Chryst received singing lessons among others from Christl Gernot-Heindl (opera studio Gernot-Heindl) in Munich, Clemens Glettenberg, Cologne, and with Kammersänger Josef Metternich, a long-time lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik Köln. In 1964 she made her debut at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich as maiden Anna in the comic-fantastic opera ''The Merry Wives of Windsor (opera), The Merry Wives of Windsor'' by Otto Nicolai. Operetta is a form of theatre and a genre of light opera. It includes spoken dialogue, songs, and dances. The Vienna State Opera (, ) is an opera house and opera company based in Vienna, Austria. The 1,709-seat Renaissance Revival venue was the first major building on the Vienna Ring Road. It was built from 1861 to 1869 following plans by August Sicard von Sicardsburg and Eduard van der Nüll, and designs by Josef Hlávka. Bohumil Herlischka
Bohumil Herlischka (25 April 1919 – February 2006) was a Czech opera director. After years at the National Theatre, he worked from 1957 predominantly in German opera houses, introducing a style later known as ''Regietheater'' (director's theatre). He directed several productions at the Oper Frankfurt and developed a close connection to the Deutsche Oper am Rhein where he staged operas by Leoš Janáček, presenting a cycle of six operas in the 197778 season. Helmut Bez
Helmut Bez (28 August 1930 – 7 August 2019) was a German writer primarily known as a playwright (for theatre, radio, and television), librettist, and screenwriter. He was born in Sondershausen and spent the first 40 years of his career in East Germany. In 1981, Hans Fabian wrote that his plays at the Deutsches Theater "rival the best of those performed in the West and give promise of a vigorous decade to come."
