Seefestspiele Mörbisch
The Seefestspiele Mörbisch, originally: Seespiele Mörbisch, is an annual operetta festival in Mörbisch am See (Austria). With around 150,000 visitors, the Mörbisch Lake Festival is the world's largest festival of the operetta genre. In addition to operettas, classical musicals are also performed on an irregular basis. Above all, the natural scenery of Neusiedler See is always incorporated into the stage set. The area is very flat, so acoustics, transmission technology specially developed for the Lake Festival is used. Vienna State Opera
The Vienna State Opera (, ) is an opera house and opera company based in Vienna, Austria. The 1,709-seat Renaissance Revival venue was the first major building on the Vienna Ring Road. It was built from 1861 to 1869 following plans by August Sicard von Sicardsburg and Eduard van der Nüll, and designs by Josef Hlávka. The opera house was inaugurated as the "Vienna Court Opera" (''Wiener Hofoper'') in the presence of Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth of Austria. It became known by its current name after the establishment of the First Austrian Republic in 1921. The Vienna State Opera is the successor of the old Vienna Court Opera (built in 1636 inside the Hofburg). The new site was chosen and the construction paid by Emperor Franz Joseph in 1861. Rudolf Bibl
Rudolf Bibl (4 May 1929 – 27 January 2017) was an Austrian conductor and pianist. Life Born in Vienna, parallel to attending a Gymnasium, Bibl studied piano, clarinet, composition at the Wiener Musikakademie and attended the conducting class of Hans Swarowsky. From 1948, he was répétiteur at the Graz Opera. From 1960, he worked at the Vienna Raimundtheater and the Theater an der Wien. From 1969 to 1973, he was music director in Trier, from where he gave guest performances in France and Luxembourg. Peter Edelmann
Peter Edelmann (born 1962) is an Austrian operatic baritone. Since 1 January 2018, he has been the artistic director of the Seefestspiele Mörbisch. Life Born in Vienna, Edelmann graduated in singing from the under his father, the bass Otto Edelmann. He made his debut as an opera singer at the Theater Koblenz as Heerrufer in Richard Wagner's ''Lohengrin''. His brother is Paul Armin Edelmann, another baritone. In 1989, he won the First Prize and the Mozart Prize at the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna. Bregenzer Festspiele
Bregenzer Festspiele (; Bregenz Festival) is a performing arts festival which is held every July and August in Bregenz in Vorarlberg (Austria). It features a large floating stage which is situated on Lake Constance. History The Festival became an international event in its first year 1946, one year after World War II. People from Germany, Switzerland and France came to the festival. Two stages were created out of floating barges. One barge for the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the other barge for carrying stage structures. The Vienna Symphony Orchestra is the biggest contributor to the Festival. Pile Foundation
A deep foundation is a type of foundation that transfers building loads to the earth farther down from the surface than a shallow foundation does to a subsurface layer or a range of depths.
