Doris Wishman
Doris Wishman (June 1, 1912 August 10, 2002) was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. She is credited with having directed and produced at least 30 feature films during a career spanning over four decades, most notably in the sexploitation film genre. A native of New York City, Wishman began her film career as a hobby after the death of her husband in 1958. She made her feature debut with ''Hideout in the Sun'' (1960), and went on to direct numerous nudity in film, nudist and sexploitation films, such as ''Gentlemen Prefer Nature Girls'' (1963), ''Behind the Nudist Curtain'' (1963), and ''Bad Girls Go to Hell'' (1965). In the 1970s, she made her first foray into directing pornographic films. In 1979, Wishman filmed her first and only feature horror film, ''A Night to Dismember'', which she spent several years editing after multiple reels were destroyed during post-production. Max Rosenberg
Max J. Rosenberg (September 13, 1914 – June 14, 2004) was an American film producer, whose career spanned six decades. He was particularly known for his horror or supernatural films, and found much of his success while working in England. Life and career Rosenberg was born in The Bronx, New York City, to a family of Jewish immigrants. In 1945, he entered the film business by becoming a foreign film distributor. Although he primarily produced horror or supernatural films, his first film—'' Rock, Rock, Rock'' (1956)—was a musical. His partner in the production of this film was Milton Subotsky, with whom he founded the British company Amicus Productions in 1962. Over the course of his career, Rosenberg produced more than 50 films, although his work was not always credited. ''Blaze Starr Goes Nudist'' is a 1962 nudist film, produced and directed by Doris Wishman. The film stars legendary burlesque queen Blaze Starr and crooner Ralph Young (as "Russ Martine"). The film was also released under the bowdlerized title ''Blaze Starr Goes Back to Nature''. Plot Screen siren Blaze Starr (Starr) is tired of the rigors of celebrity life. New York State Censorship Board
The Motion Picture Division of the State of New York Education Department, also known variously as the New York State Censorship Board, New York Censor Board, and New York Board of Censors, was an organ of film censorship in the Pre-Code film era. The agency was created in 1921 as the New York State Motion Picture Commission and the first film it rejected in whole was the Lon Chaney crime film '' The Night Rose'' (1921), which it condemned "as highly immoral and of such character that its exhibition would not only tend to corrupt morals, but to incite crime." After a state court upheld the decision, Goldwyn came to an agreement with the Commission and reedited the film, deleting most of the Chaney scenes, and released it in 1922 as '' Voices of the City''. Myocardial Infarction
A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when blood flow decreases or stops to the coronary artery of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck or jaw.
