Dorel Mutică
Dorel Mutică (born 14 March 1973) is a Romanian former professional footballer and currently a manager. He played mainly as a defender for teams such as: UTA Arad, Rapid București, CSM Reșița, Steaua București or Lombard Pápa, among others. After retirement Mutică started his career as a football manager, occupying this position at fourth tier sides Frontiera Curtici and Progresul Pecica, both from Arad County, where Mutică settled. His nickname, Mutamba, was given to him by Iulian Chiriță, after Congolese footballer Mutamba Kabongo. Motru
Motru () is a city in Romania, Gorj County. It is situated on the river Motru in western Oltenia. The county capital Târgu Jiu is located about 35 km northeast. The city administers eight villages: Dealu Pomilor, Horăști, Însurăței, Leurda, Lupoița, Ploștina, Roșiuța and Râpa. History Motru was created by an administrative decision on the day of 24 May 1966 on the territory of the former Ploștina commune, which, together with seven other villages, became part of the new city. Supercupa României
The Supercupa României ( en, Romanian Supercup) is a Romanian football championship contested by the winners of the Liga I and the Cupa României. It is usually played at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. The competition started off in 1994, with the first edition being won by Steaua București. In 2010, for the first time in its history, the Supercup was held even though CFR Cluj had been victorious in both the league and the cup in the previous season. At that time, they faced Unirea Urziceni, the Liga I runners-up. The most successful performer so far has been FCSB with 6 wins, followed by Rapid București and CFR Cluj with 4 wins each up until 2021. 1994–95 Cupa României
The 1994–95 Cupa României was the 57th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Petrolul Ploiești against Rapid București. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes into extra time. If the match is still tied, the result is decided by penalty kicks. In the semi-finals, each tie is played as a two legs. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table.
