Donna Vekić
Donna Vekić (; born 28 June 1996) is a Croatian professional tennis player and businesswoman. She has won three singles titles on the WTA Tour – at the 2014 Malaysian Open, at the 2017 Nottingham Open, and the 2021 Courmayeur Ladies Open. She has also won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Circuit. Entering the quarterfinals of the 2019 US Open was her best performance at a major singles event. In November 2019, she achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 19. Professional career 2012: First WTA Tour final Born in Osijek, Vekić is a member of the Croatia Fed Cup team. Chan Yung-jan and Martina Hingis defeated Lucie Hradecká and Kateřina Siniaková in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2017 US Open. They currently compete in the Europe/Africa Zone Group I.
