Donna Mercado Kim
Donna Mercado Kim is an American Democratic party politician from Hawaii. She is a state senator from Senate District 14 and was President of the Hawaiʻi Senate for almost three years. Education Kim attended, and graduated from Farrington High School, in Kalihi-Palama, Honolulu. Kim is a graduate of Washington State University, although she also attended the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Political career From 1982 to 1984, Kim was a member of the Hawaiʻi House of Representatives. From 1986 to 2000, Kim served on the Honolulu City Council. Elected to the Senate in 2000, Kim has chaired the Committee on Tourism, the Committee on Ways and Means, the Special Committee on Accountability, and the Task Force on Reinventing Government. From 2003 to 2008 and again from 2011 to 2013, Kim served as Vice President of the Senate. Norman Keiji Mizuguchi (born May 26, 1939) is an American former politician. He served as a member of the Hawaii Senate. Life and career Mizuguchi was born in Hilo, Hawaii. Hawaii House Of Representatives
The Hawaii House of Representatives is the lower house of the Hawaii State Legislature. Pursuant to Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution of Hawaii, amended during the 1978 constitutional convention, the House of Representatives consists of 51 members representing an equal number of districts across the islands. It is led by the Speaker of the House elected from the membership of the House, with majority and minority leaders elected from their party's respective caucuses. The current Speaker of the House is Scott Saiki. Legislators are elected to two-year terms and are not subject to term limits. Edward Espenett Case (born September 27, 1952) is an American lawyer and Democratic politician serving as the U.S. representative for Hawaii's 1st congressional district, which covers the urban core of Honolulu. He represented the 2nd district, which covers the rest of the state, from 2002 to 2007.
