Guanshan, Taitung
Guanshan Township () is an urban township in northern Taitung County, Taiwan. History Formerly called ''Lilong'', which is from the Amis word meaning "red worms" and rendered in Hokkien as A-lí-lóng (阿里壟). By 1920, the town was called Kanzan Town under Kanzan District, Taitō Prefecture. Geography It is located in the Huatung Valley South segment. Beinan River flows through. In the east it is bordered by the Hai'an Range and in the west by the Central Mountain Range. Guanshan has a Tropical Monsoon Climate. Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Standard Chinese, Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the School campus song, Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Though Mandopop predates Cantopop, the English term was coined around 1980 after "Cantopop" became a popular term for describing popular songs in Cantonese. Wu Chin-yi (; born March 4, 1968), better known as Annie Yi () or Annie Shizuka Inoh ( ja, 伊能 静, Inō Shizuka), is a Taiwanese singer, actress, and writer. Early life and education Wu Chin-yi () was born on March 4, 1968 in Taipei, Taiwan, the youngest of seven daughters of Yang Shu-wan () and Wu Min (). Her mother is from Keelung and her father is from Shandong. Her father divorced her mother to married another woman who gave him a boy, her half-brother Wu Pu-hui (). Liu Wen-cheng
Liu Wen-cheng (; born 12 November 1952) is a former Taiwanese singer and actor. He is the nephew of Burton Levin, an American diplomat serving as the United States Ambassador to Burma in the late 1980s and early 90s. Early life Liu is the youngest son of a well-to-do family and a favorite of his mother. He had initially planned to follow the path of his siblings, a brother and two sisters, to further his education overseas after college. However, this was shelved after he won the singing contest which led to a contract with Taiwan Television (TTV), Tai Shi at the age of 17. Eric Moo Chii Yuan (born 9 February 1963), better known as Eric Moo or Wu Qixian, is a Malaysian Chinese award-winning singer-songwriter and record producer. Personal life Moo was born in Mambang Diawan, Kampar, Perak in 1963. He moved to Singapore with his family when he was 8 years old.
