Donior Islamov
Donior Islamov (born 3 December 1989) is a Moldovan Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a two-time bronze medalist at the European Wrestling Championships. Career Islamov competed in the 55 kg event at the 2010 World Wrestling Championships held in Moscow, Russia without winning a medal. He was eliminated in his first match by Péter Módos of Hungary. The following year, he competed in the 55 kg event at the 2011 World Wrestling Championships held in Istanbul, Turkey where he was eliminated in his third match by Bekkhan Mankiev of Russia. In 2013, Islamov competed in the 60 kg event at the European Wrestling Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia and in the 60 kg at the World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary. In both competitions he was eliminated in his first match. The following year, he competed in the 66 kg at the 2014 World Wrestling Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan where he was eliminated in his second match. The 2021 European Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament is the second regional qualifying tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The event was held from 18 to 21 March 2021, in BOK Sports Hall, Budapest, Hungary. Qualification summary A total of 36 athletes secured a spot in the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, Japan. Two spots were given to each of the weight classes in every event. This allows a total of 12 available spots for each event. 2020 Individual Wrestling World Cup
The inaugural 2020 Individual World Wrestling Cup was held in Belgrade, Serbia from 12–18 December 2020. It was a replacement event for the 2020 World Championships, which should have taken place in the same location, but since some criteria were not fulfilled, such as not less than 8 top nations from the previous championships to participate, the event is not counted as world championships. The Cup took place amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused this and other problems. The United States for instance chose not to participate. Kristijan Fris ( sr-cyrl, Кристијан Фрис, hu, Frisz Krisztián; born 21 April 1984 in Senta, Serbia, Yugoslavia) is a Serbian sport wrestler. He won a bronze medal at the 2007 World Wrestling Championships in Baku. He also won a bronze medal at the 2007 European Wrestling Championships. The 2015 European Games, also known as Baku 2015 or Baku 2015 European Games ( az, Bakı 2015 Avropa Oyunları), were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees. It took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 12 to 28 June 2015, and featured almost 6,000 athletes from 50 countries competing in 30 sports, including 15 summer Olympic and 2 non-Olympic sports.
