Don Hume
Don Hume (born May 8, 1938) is a former NASCAR driver from Belvidere, New Jersey. In his limited NASCAR career, Hume competed in fifteen Winston Cup events. Winston Cup 1964 Hume appeared in the series in 1964, completing two races late in the year. In his debut at Darlington, Hume started 28th but slid to 38th after an early crash. Hume would then barely improve at Charlotte, where he finished 35th due to overheating. 1965 Hume had a significantly better season in 1965, when he competed in four events. He only managed to finish one of the four races. That race, at Charlotte, Hume finished 18th. All of his DNFs were due to mechanical issues. 1981 Hume returned to the series after a sixteen-year absence in 1981, completing one race for D.K. Ulrich. The NASCAR Cup Series is the top racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series began in 1949 as the Strictly Stock Division, and from 1950 to 1970 it was known as the Grand National Division. In 1971, when the series began leasing its naming rights to the R. J. North Carolina Speedway
Rockingham Speedway, formerly North Carolina Motor Speedway and later North Carolina Speedway is a racetrack located near Rockingham, North Carolina. Bahari Racing was a NASCAR Winston Cup and Busch team that operated from 1981 to 2001.The Busch team ran from 1989-1996 with Ronnie Sliver and Michael Waltrip driving, and one race with Johnny Benson at Homestead. The team's history of drivers include Geoff Bodine, Michael Waltrip, Johnny Benson, Kenny Wallace, Jeff Fuller, Rick Mast, and Mike Bliss, among others. The team mainly ran Pontiac Grand Prixs, although they did run other manufacturers as well. Atlanta Motor Speedway (formerly known Atlanta International Raceway from 1960 to 1990) is a 1.54-mile entertainment facility in Hampton, Georgia, United States, 20 miles (32 km) south of Atlanta. James Hylton
James Harvey Hylton (August 26, 1934 – April 28, 2018) was an American stock car racing driver. He was a two-time winner in NASCAR Winston Cup Series competition and was a long-time competitor in the ARCA Racing Series. Hylton finished second in points in NASCAR's top series three times. He holds the record for highest points finish by a rookie. Although Hylton had only two wins at the Cup level, he collected 140 top 5s and 301 top 10s in 601 races.
