Don Figlozzi
Don Figlozzi (January 17, 1909 – June 21, 1981) was an American animator and cartoonist. A veteran of Fleischer Studios and member of the National Cartoonists Society, he spent the first half of his career in animation and the second half at the New York ''Daily News'', where his cartoons, signed "Fig," became a fixture. The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art (Cooper Union) is a private college at Cooper Square in New York City. Terrytoons
Terrytoons was an American animation studio in New Rochelle, New York, that produced animated cartoons for theatrical release from 1929 to 1973 (and briefly returned between 1987 and 1996 for television in name only). Terrytoons was founded by Paul Terry, Frank Moser, and Joseph Coffman, and operated out of the "K" Building in downtown New Rochelle. The studio created many cartoon characters including Fanny Zilch, Mighty Mouse, Heckle and Jeckle, Gandy Goose, Sourpuss, Dinky Duck, Little Roquefort, the Terry Bears, Dimwit, and Luno; Terry's pre-existing character Farmer Al Falfa was also featured often in the series. The Art Students League of New York is an art school at 215 West 57th Street in Manhattan, New York City, New York.
