Doménica Ananías
Doménica Emilia Ananías Cancino (born 18 August 1998) is a field hockey player from Chile. Career Domestic league In Chile's national league, Ananías competes for Club Manquehue. During the 2024–25 season, she relocated to Germany and has been representing Zehlendorfer Wespen in the Bundesliga. Under–21 Ananías represented the Chilean U–21 side from 2016 to 2018. During her junior career she medalled with the squad once, winning bronze at the 2016 Pan American Junior Championship in Tacarigua. She also represented the team at the 2016 FIH Junior World Cup, held in her hometown of Santiago. Las Diablas Ananías has been representing Las Diablas since 2018. She made her senior international debut during a test–series against Canada. Since her debut, she has been a regular inclusion in the national team. Canada Women's National Field Hockey Team
The Canada women's national field hockey team participates in international field hockey competitions. In 1991, the Canadian men's and women's programs united under the national umbrella of Field Hockey Canada to share funding and infrastructure. The women's team made its first international appearance at the 1978 Women's Hockey World Cup in Madrid, Spain, finishing in fifth place. They were the runner-up at the 1983 Women's Hockey World Cup and the bronze medallists at the 1986 Women's Hockey World Cup. The Canadian women's team participated in the women's international tournament for the first time in 1956. In 1979 Canada hosted 18 countries in Vancouver for that world event; Canada placed 8th. The 2016 Women's Hockey Junior World Cup was the 8th edition of the Women's Hockey Junior World Cup. It was held from 24 November to 4 December 2016 in Santiago, Chile. Argentina women's national field hockey team, Argentina won the tournament after defeating 2013 Women's Hockey Junior World Cup, defending champions the Netherlands women's national field hockey team, Netherlands 4–2 in the final. This was the first time Argentina had won the Junior World Cup since the 1993 tournament in Terrassa, Spain. Tacarigua
Tacarigua (originally San Pablo de Tacarigua) is a town in the East–West Corridor of Trinidad and Tobago. It is located east of Tunapuna, north of Trincity and west of Arouca, Trinidad and Tobago, Arouca. It is on the banks of the Tacarigua River. The city is governed by the Tunapuna–Piarco Regional Corporation. Tacarigua was originally a Spanish ''encomienda'', prior to the relocation of the Amerindians to Arima in 1789. Women's Feldhockey Bundesliga
The Feldhockey Bundesliga is the top level of women's field hockey in Germany and is organized by the German Hockey Federation. The league ranks second European women's league rankings. It was established in 1940. Format The season starts in August or September and is interrupted by the indoor hockey season from November to March. From April the outdoor season will be continued. Since the 2011–12 season the league was played by twelve teams who played each other twice and who competed for four spots in the championship play-offs.
