Dominique Parrish
Dominique Olivia Parrish (born November 5, 1996) is an American freestyle wrestler. She won the gold medal in the women's 53kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. She also won the gold medal in her event at the 2022 Pan American Wrestling Championships held in Acapulco, Mexico. Career In 2022, Parrish won one of the bronze medals in the women's 53kg event at the Yasar Dogu Tournament held in Istanbul, Turkey. She competed at the 2022 Tunis Ranking Series event held in Tunis, Tunisia. Parrish lost her bronze medal match in her event at the 2023 Pan American Wrestling Championships held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was eliminated in her first match in the women's 53kg event at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. Scotts Valley, California
Scotts Valley is a small city in Santa Cruz County, California, United States, about thirty miles (48 km) south of downtown San Jose and six miles (10 km) north of the city of Santa Cruz, in the upland slope of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The World Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship in WWE. It was established by WWE in 2002 after WWE bought out World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and split its roster into two brands, Raw and SmackDown!, in a brand extension. WWE's original world title, the WWE Championship, with which the WCW World Heavyweight Championship had been unified in 2001, was designated to the SmackDown! brand; as a result the World Heavyweight Championship was established for the Raw brand. 2024 Grand Prix Zagreb Open
The 2024 Grand Prix Zagreb Open was a wrestling event will be held in Zagreb, Croatia between 10 and 14 January 2024. It was held as the first of the ranking series of United World Wrestling in 2024. With an aim to reward wrestlers participating in Ranking Series tournaments, the United World Wrestling will award prize money to the medal winners in all weight classes with a total prize money of 390,000 Swiss Francs. The gold medal winners at the four Ranking Series tournaments in 2024 will receive 1500 Swiss Francs with the silver medallists getting 750 Swiss Francs.
