Dominique Ducharme (ice Hockey)
Dominique Ducharme (born March 12, 1973) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is the former head coach of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Ducharme had a four-year standout career playing for the University of Vermont's Vermont Catamounts men's ice hockey, men's ice hockey team. He ranks ninth all-time in points with 149, and seventh all-time in assists with 93 at UVM while playing alongside the likes of future NHLers and Stanley Cup champions Martin St. Louis and Tim Thomas (ice hockey, born 1974), Tim Thomas. After graduation, Ducharme began his professional career with splitting time between the Raleigh IceCaps and Texas Wildcatters, Huntington Blizzard of the ECHL along with the Cornwall Aces of the American Hockey League, AHL in 1995–96. Notre-Dame-des-Prairies is a town in the Lanaudière region of Quebec, Canada, part of the Joliette Regional County Municipality. Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League
The Ligue de Hockey Junior du Québec (LHJQ) or Quebec Junior Hockey League (QJHL) is a Hockey Québec Canadian Junior A ice hockey league and is a member of Hockey Canada and the Canadian Junior Hockey League. The winner of the QJHL playoffs competes for the Fred Page Cup against the winners of the Central Junior A Hockey League and the Maritime Hockey League and the host team, which is on a three-year cycle between the MHL, CJHL and LHJQ. The 2017 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships was the 41st edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship (WJC or WM20). The Portland Winterhawks are a junior ice hockey team based in Portland, Oregon, playing in the Western Hockey League (WHL), one of three leagues making up the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). 2013 Memorial Cup
The 2013 Memorial Cup was a four-team, round-robin format ice hockey tournament played from May 17–26, 2013. It was the 95th Memorial Cup championship and determined the champion of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The tournament featured the London Knights, champions of the Ontario Hockey League, the Halifax Mooseheads, champions of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Portland Winterhawks, champions of the Western Hockey League, and the Saskatoon Blades, who won the right to host the tournament over bids by the Kelowna Rockets and the Red Deer Rebels. This was the first Memorial Cup to be held in Saskatoon since the Blades hosted it in 1989. The Halifax Mooseheads won the Memorial Cup for the first time in franchise history, beating the Portland Winterhawks 6–4 in the final. Jonathan Drouin
Jonathan Drouin (born March 28, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). After a stellar 2012–13 season with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)'s Halifax Mooseheads, in which he was named CHL Player of the Year and won the Memorial Cup, Drouin was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round, third overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Nathan Raymond MacKinnon (born September 1, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL).
