Dominic Drakes
Dominic Conneil Drakes (born 6 February 1998) is a Barbadian cricketer. He plays for Barbados in domestic cricket and for the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Drakes is the son of Vasbert Drakes, who played international cricket for the West Indies. Career Drakes made his first-class debut for Barbados in the 2017–18 Regional Four Day Competition on 18 January 2018. He made his List A debut for Barbados in the 2017–18 Regional Super50 on 9 February 2018. Ahead of the 2018 Caribbean Premier League, Drakes was named as one of five players to watch in the tournament. He made his Twenty20 debut for Barbados Tridents in the tournament on 4 September 2018. In October 2019, he was named in the West Indies Emerging Team for the 2019–20 Regional Super50 tournament. 2017–18 Regional Super50
The 2017–18 Regional Super50 was the 44th edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The tournament started on 31 January 2018 and finished on 24 February 2018. Barbados were the defending champions. In September 2017, two English county sides, Kent and Hampshire, were invited to take part in the competition. Kent took part in the previous edition of the tournament. Colombo Stars, formerly known as Colombo Kings, is a franchise Twenty20 cricket team based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, that competes in the Lanka Premier League. The 2022 Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 15 or for sponsorship reasons, Tata IPL 2022, was the fifteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The West Indies cricket team toured Pakistan in December 2021 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.
