Domenico Distilo
Domenico Distilo (born 25 December 1978 in Rome, Lazio, Italy) is a filmmaker living and working between Rome, Italy and Berlin, Germany. He graduated in film direction from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome with the film '' Unexpected (Inatteso)'', a documentary on the demand for political asylum in Italy, which was screened at the Festival dei Popoli in Florence and at the Berlinale, within the section "Forum" in 2006. In 2008, he won the national prize Premio Solinas for the screenplay of the feature film ''When elephants fight (Quando gli elefanti combattono)'', written in collaboration with Filippo Gravino and Guido Iuculano. In 2009, he joined the production company Sciara, where he works as director and producer. A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the film crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. A graphic novel is a long-form, fictional work of sequential art. Igort (born Igor Tuveri; September 26, 1958) is an Italian comics artist, illustrator, script writer, and film director. Biography He began his career in Bologna at the end of the seventies, collaborating with numerous magazines: including Linus, Alter, Frigidaire, Métal Hurlant, L'Écho des savanes, Vanity, The Face. Since the nineties, he collaborates with the Japanese publishing houses Kodansha, Brutus and Hon Hon do. In 1994 he exhibited his works at the Venice Biennale. In 2000 he founded the Coconino Press publishing house. Romani People
