Ain Khaled ( ar, عين خالد, ‘Ayn Khālid) is a district in the municipality of Al Rayyan in Qatar. Found on the outskirts of the capital city Doha, the area is historically known for its well which served the people of Doha and neighboring villages. Etymology The first word in the district's name, "Ain", is an Arabic word reserved for natural underground water sources. BTEC Extended Diploma
The BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council) Level 3 diploma is a Further Education qualification and vocational qualification taken in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The qualification is organised and awarded by Pearson within the BTEC brand and it is equivalent to A-Levels. It is equivalent to the GCE A Levels, more specifically to three A2 awards (when studying for the BTEC Extended Diploma) and the AVCE. This qualification is taken in order to gain entry to the vast majority of Higher Education providers. Nevertheless, as it is mostly coursework based, the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford may require it to be combined with more traditional qualifications, typically studying for A-levels as well. Lusail Stadium
Lusail Stadium ( ar, استاد لوسيل, ), also unofficially known as Lusail Iconic Stadium, is a football stadium in Lusail, Qatar. Owned by the Qatar Football Association, it is the largest stadium in Qatar by capacity and one of eight stadiums built for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, during which it hosted the final game between Argentina and France on 18 December 2022. Rawdat Al Hamama
Rawdat Al Hamam ( ar, روضة الحمام, Rawḑat al Hamam) is a village in the municipality of Al Daayen in Qatar. It is located between two major highways: Al Khor Expressway and Al Shamal Road. Government authorities have launched major developments in the village, including a housing subdivision with a target capacity of 30,000 residents. Etymology The first part of its name, 'rawdat', is the Arabic term used for a depression. Hamām is Arabic for dove. Geography It is located in the southern section of the municipality, 3 km north of Al Kheesa and about 10 km north of Doha. Al Wakrah
Al Wakrah ( ar, الوكرة, al-Wakra) is the capital city of the Al Wakrah Municipality in Qatar. Al Wakrah's eastern edge is the shores of the Persian Gulf and Qatar's capital Doha is situated to the city's immediate north. Governed by Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, it was originally a small fishing and pearling village. Aspire Zone
Aspire Zone, also known as Doha Sports City, is a sporting complex located in the Baaya district of Al Rayyan, a suburb of Doha, Qatar. Owned by the Aspire Zone Foundation, it was established as an international sports destination in 2003 and in the following year an educational centre for the development of sporting champions (Aspire Academy) was opened. The complex contains several sporting venues, mostly constructed in preparation for the 2006 Asian Games.
