Dobwalls Football Club ( kw, Klub Pel-droes Fôs an Mogh) is a football club based in Dobwalls, Cornwall. They are currently members of the and play at Lantoom Park. History Dobwalls joined the East Cornwall League in 2002–03, finishing in the top five every season before being promoted to the South West Peninsula League Division One West on its formation in 2007. They spent twelve seasons in that division with a top finish of seventh in 2008–09 South West Peninsula League, 2008–09. At the end of 2018–19 the league was restructured, and Dobwalls successfully applied for promotion to the Premier Division West, at Step 6 of the National League System. Dobwalls
Dobwalls ( kw, Fos an Mogh) is a village and civil parish in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated 3 mi (5 km) west of Liskeard. The name is spelt ''Dubwalls'' on Bartholomew's map and '' Black's Guide'' of 1879. The A38 trunk road ran through the village until the bypass was opened on 19 December 2008. The bypass has two of the most elaborate bat bridges built so far in the UK (previous examples in Wales being wooden posts with cables). Twelve native species of bats are found in the area. Until 2006, the Dobwalls Adventure Park tourist attraction was located north of the village. East Cornwall League
The East Cornwall Premier League (ECPL) is a football competition based in Cornwall and west Devon, England, in the United Kingdom. The league sits at level 12 of the English football league system and consists of 18 clubs. Due to a sponsorship arrangement, the league is currently known as the RRL East Cornwall Premier League. The South West Peninsula League (SWPL) is a football competition in England, which was formed in 2007 from the merger of the Devon County League and the South Western League. The league is restricted to clubs based in Cornwall, Devon and West Dorset. The league consists of two Premier Divisions (East and West), which are ranked at Step 6 in the National League System. Until 2019–20, there was a single Premier Division at Step 6, and two divisions at Step 7 (Division One West and Division One East). Subject to applying, receiving the required ground grading and finishing high enough in the league table, one club from each Premier Division can be promoted to the Western League Premier Division each season. The 2008–09 South West Peninsula League season was the second in the history of the South West Peninsula League, a football competition in England, that feeds the Premier Division of the Western Football League. The Football Association Challenge Vase, usually referred to as the FA Vase, is an annual football competition for teams playing in Steps 5 and 6 of the English National League System (or equivalently, tier 9 or 10 of the overall English football league system). For the 2017–18 season 619 entrants were accepted, with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. 2021–22 FA Vase
The 2021–22 FA Vase (Known for sponsorship reasons as the Buildbase FA Vase) was the 48th season of the FA Vase, an annual football competition for teams playing in Levels 9 and 10 (steps 5 & 6) of the English National League System. The competition is played with two qualifying rounds followed by six proper rounds, semi-finals, and the final played at Wembley Stadium. All ties this season were played to a finish on the day. For this season there were no replays in any of the rounds to minimise fixture congestion due to late start of the football season brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. If games finished level after 90 minutes, the match was decided by penalties to find the winner of the tie, apart from the Final where there were 30 minutes extra time (15 minutes each way) followed by penalties if still level after the extra time period. Neil Warnock
Neil Warnock (born 1 December 1948) is an English former football manager and player. He is also a television and radio pundit. In a managerial career spanning five decades, Warnock has managed sixteen different clubs from the Premier League to non-league. He holds the record for the most promotions in English football, with eight. Warnock played as a winger for Chesterfield, Rotherham United, Hartlepool United, Scunthorpe United, Aldershot, Barnsley, York City and Crewe Alexandra, scoring 36 goals in 327 career league appearances. He retired from league football in 1979, aged 30. Sheryll Murray (formerly Sheryll Hickman; born 4 February 1956) is a British Conservative Party politician and former receptionist. She was first elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for South East Cornwall at the 2010 general election. Early life Sheryll Murray was born on 4 February 1956 in the village of Millbrook, Cornwall, to Cornish parents, her mother's family lived at Millbrook and her father's family originated from the village of Calstock.
