The Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) is an architecture framework for the United States Department of Defense (DoD) that provides visualization infrastructure for specific stakeholders concerns through viewpoints organized by various view model, views. These views are Enterprise architecture artifacts, artifacts for visualizing, understanding, and assimilating the broad scope and complexities of an architecture description through table (information), tabular, Mathematical structure, structural, Behavioral modeling, behavioral, Ontology (information science), ontological, image, pictorial, timeline, temporal, diagram, graphical, Graphical model, probabilistic, or alternative Conceptual model#Techniques, conceptual means. The current release is DoDAF 2.02. DoD Architecture Framework
The United States Department of Defense (DoD, USDOD, or DOD) is an United States federal executive departments, executive department of the federal government of the United States, U.S. federal government charged with coordinating and supervising the six U.S. armed services: the United States Army, Army, United States Navy, Navy, United States Marine Corps, Marines, United States Air Force, Air Force, United States Space Force, Space Force, the United States Coast Guard, Coast Guard for some purposes, and related functions and agencies.
