Djohar Arifin Husein
Djohar Arifin Husin (born 13 September 1950) is a former chairman of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) from 2011 to 2015, replacing former corruption-convict Nurdin Halid. He was also a General Secretary of National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI), under the leadership of Agum Gumelar and Regional Board of PSSI North Sumatra. He was an active professor in the Islamic University of North Sumatra and expert staff in the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In his youth, he was also a footballer and football referee in the national level. He was chosen as chairman of PSSI in the extraordinary congress of PSSI on 9 July 2011 in Surakarta. Surakarta ( jv, ꦯꦸꦫꦏꦂꦠ), known colloquially as Solo ( jv, ꦱꦭ; ), is a city in Central Java, Indonesia. 2012 AFF Championship
The 2012 AFF Championship, sponsored by Suzuki and officially known as the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup, was the 9th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of Southeast Asia. It was co-hosted for group stage by Malaysia and Thailand and took place from 24 November to 22 December 2012. Malaysia were defending champions, but they were eliminated by Thailand in the semi-finals Singapore became the first side to win the AFF Championship four times, beating Thailand 3–2 on aggregate in the finals. On 29 February 2012, the Bahraini and Indonesian national association football teams faced each other in a qualifying match for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The match was played at the Bahrain National Stadium in Riffa, Bahrain. It was the biggest win for Bahrain, and the biggest defeat for Indonesia. This match is known for the investigation called for by FIFA afterwards. Alfred Riedl (2 November 1949 – 8 September 2020) was an Austrian football player and manager. As a player he was a striker. His last coaching role was with the Indonesia national football team. Playing career Club career He first played for FK Austria Wien, before leaving Austria to play for the Belgian club Sint-Truiden at the age of 22. Firman Utina (born 15 December 1981) is a retired Indonesian professional footballer, he normally plays as an attacking midfielder. Throughout his career, Firman has played for several clubs in Indonesia, most notably winning league titles with Sriwijaya, Persib Bandung, and Bhayangkara.
