Qu'Appelle () is a town in Saskatchewan, located on Saskatchewan Highway 35, Highway 35 approximately east of the provincial capital (political), capital of Regina, Saskatchewan, Regina. Qu'Appelle was for a time the terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway and the major distribution centre for what was then the District of Assiniboia in the Northwest Territories, North-West Territories and is now southern Saskatchewan. Chamberlain, Saskatchewan
Chamberlain ( 2016 population: ) is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Sarnia No. 221 and Census Division No. 6. Chamberlain is notable for being the last community between Regina and Saskatoon that Highway 11, the Louis Riel Trail, still passes through. The highway narrows to two lanes and its speed limit is reduced from 110 km/h to 50 km/h. A number of small restaurants and gas stations benefit from having traffic pass through at slow speed. The village is only about half an hour drive from Moose Jaw, an hour from Regina and one and a half hours from Saskatoon. Highway 11 has been realigned around all other communities along its route. History Bulyea was first settled in 1882-1883 by immigrants from the United Kingdom and Ireland, and later people of Norwegian and German origins. Bulyea incorporated as a village on March 9, 1909. The village is north-west of Regina on Highway 11 (Louis Riel Trail). Arm River flows along a river valley north of Bethune, which features camping sites, and the Qu'Appelle River is a short way south. Abernethy ( 2021 population: ) is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Abernethy No. 186 and Census Division No. 6. White City is a town in the southeast Saskatchewan. Strasbourg () is a small town in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, located about 75 km away from the provincial capital, Regina. The school, William Derby School, which holds kindergarten to Grade 12 has 260 students. History The earliest settlers came to this area around 1884 as the area became known for its rich agricultural soil and ample land for pastures. The area was settled by German pioneers. The town was originally spelled Strassburg, ''Strass'' meaning road or street in German and ''burg'' meaning castle.
