Disembowelment (band)
Disembowelment, often styled as diSEMBOWELMENT, was an Australian death-doom band that formed in November 1989 featuring Renato Gallina on guitar and vocals, and Paul Mazziotta on drums. In early 1991 Jason Kells joined on lead guitar and at the end of that year the group's line-up was completed by Matthew Skarajew on bass guitar. In 1992 they issued an extended play, ''Dusk'', on Relapse Records and followed with a studio album, '' Transcendence into the Peripheral'', in 1993. They disbanded shortly thereafter – never having performed live. Melbourne ( ; Boonwurrung/Woiwurrung: ''Narrm'' or ''Naarm'') is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of Victoria, and the second-most populous city in both Australia and Oceania. Crematory (band)
Crematory is a German gothic metal band formed in Mannheim in 1991. History The band received its earliest recognition in the mid-1990s by touring with My Dying Bride, Tiamat and Atrocity. Much like the latter two groups, the band had begun as traditional death metal, then evolved in an industrial music and gothic metal musical direction on later albums. The band received heavy rotation on ''MTV Germany'', and made appearances at various extreme metal festivals, including Germany's ''Wacken Open Air'' in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2008, in addition to inclusion on Nuclear Blast compilation samplers. The band re-signed to Massacre Records in 2006 after a 10-year stint with Nuclear Blast; Massacre had been the band's first label. Disembowelment (album)
''Disembowelment'' is a compilation of all the recorded material by the Australian death-doom band Disembowelment. It was released on 28 June 2005 by Relapse Records as a two-CD set in a gatefold package with the band's logo embossed on the cover. Included with the album was a booklet featuring an extensive biography of the band written by drummer Paul Mazziotta. A limited edition of the album contained a third CD comprising four tracks, one of which is a cover of the Necrovore song "Slaughtered Remains". It was also issued as a triple LP by 3XM Productions in a limited edition of 500. Disc One of this collection is the band's 1993 album '' Transcendence Into The Peripheral'' in its entirety. Disc Two is composed of the 1992 EP ''Dusk'' (tracks 1 - 3), an early version of the song "Excoriated" titled "Extracted Nails" that featured only on a compilation album called ''Pantalgia'' from 1991 and the remainder is the complete 1990 demo "Mourning September".
