Dino Butorac
Dino Butorac (born October 8, 1990) is a Croatian basketball player who last played for Þór Þorlákshöfn of the Icelandic Úrvalsdeild karla. During his career he has won the Swedish Basketball League twice, in 2014 and 2015, and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Basketball League in 2012. Playing career In September 2011, he signed with HKK Široki in Bosnia. He won both the Bosnian Cup and the league championship. In July 2012, he signed a contract with KK Jolly JBS in Croatia where he reached semifinals and lost against KK Cibona who ended winning the title. Sodertalje Kings was the next stop in 2013 where he ended up playing 2 seasons and won the championship both times. In the second year with the team he had a key role in the playoffs, averaging 15 points. Svenska Basketligan, or the Swedish Basketball League (SBL), is the premier league for professional basketball in Sweden. The league was originally established in 1992 as Basketligan and was known as that prior to the season of 2006–07, but when the Swedish company Obol Investment signed an agreement with the Swedish Basketball Federation in early October 2006, the league was renamed Obol Basketball League (OBL). In January 2007 the name was changed to Ligan, meaning simply the League. History On October 6, 2006, the Swedish Basketball Federation signed a 15-year agreement with Swiss company Obol Investment. The Croatia men's national basketball team ( hr, Hrvatska košarkaška reprezentacija) represents Croatia in international basketball matches. The team is controlled by the Croatian Basketball Federation (HKS). The biggest success Croatia has achieved was at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics when the team reached the final against the United States and won the silver medal. The Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A ( en, National Championship I/A, commonly abbreviated NB I/A) is the highest level league of club men's basketball in Hungary. Format The league comprises 14 teams. A NB I/A season is split into a league stage and a playoff/playout stage. At the end of the league stage (14 teams) the top 5 teams play another league stage, another 5 play with each other, and then the top 8 teams qualify for the playoff stage. Plymouth Raiders
The Plymouth Raiders was a professional basketball team based in Plymouth, England. The team competed in the British Basketball League, the country's premier basketball competition. The club was founded in 1983 through a merger between two local basketball clubs and went on to be the longest-serving and most successful team in Division 1 of the English Basketball League.
