Dinefwr Sharks
Dinefwr Sharks RLFC were a rugby league side based in Ammanford, South-West Wales. History ''West Wales Sharks'' were formed in the spring of 2006 and joined the Rugby League Conference Welsh Division West. The Sharks played eight games and there were heavy losses in the matches against Bridgend Blue Bulls but they ended their season with two wins against Aberavon Fighting Irish and Swansea Valley Miners. In 2007, the Sharks moved to Furnace United RFC to play their home fixtures. The club played in the Rugby League Conference Welsh Premier division playing seven rounds from May to July. In the first match they lost to the Valley Cougars 12-74 but then won their next match 33-32 against the Cardiff Demons. But they then lost their remaining five matches including a tight 34-30 loss against Torfaen Tigers. Just one win meant that they had finished bottom of the league. CPC Bears
CPC Bears were a rugby league club based in Carmarthen and are the regional side for Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. They played in the Welsh Premier Division of the Rugby League Conference. History West Wales Sharks were formed in the spring of 2006 and joined the Rugby League Conference. They became the Dinefwr Sharks for the 2009 season. West Wales Wild Boars joined the Conference in 2009. ''CPC Bears RL'' was formed in 2010, as the regional side for Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion in the Welsh Premier Division with Dinefwr Sharks and West Wales Wild Boars competing in the Championship. Valley Cougars are a rugby league team based in Treharris. They play in the Wales Premier League, which they won in 2017 after defeating the Torfaen Tigers in the league's Grand Final. History They were founded in 2001 as Cynon Valley Cougars and joined the Welsh Division of the Rugby League Conference in 2003. Cardiff Demons
The Cardiff Demons RLFC name has been used multiple times over the years. Firstly for a now-defunct men's rugby league side, and subsequently for a women's rugby league side who began in 2021. The men's sids played out of St. Peters RFC in the east of Cardiff, Wales and played in the Welsh Premier of the Rugby League Conference. The women's team on the other hand compete in the RFL Women's Super League South since its inaugural season in June 2021. Men's Team: 1997-2015 History ''Cardiff Demons'' were formed in 1997 as an Academy level club, competing in the Lower Division of the Rugby League Academy competition against young players from professional outfits in the North of England. The Demons reached the Grand Final of the Academy Division Two in their second season but lost to Hunslet Hawks. Neath Port Talbot Steelers were a rugby league team based in Port Talbot, West Glamorgan. They played in the Welsh Premier division of the Rugby League Conference at Aberavon Green Stars RFC. Blackwood Bulldogs were a rugby league team based in Blackwood, Caerphilly, Wales. They played in the Welsh Championship of the Rugby League Conference. Newport Titans RLFC were a rugby league side based in the city of Newport, South Wales. Since 2013, they have been based at Newport Saracens RFC. They played in the Welsh Premier of the Rugby League Conference. History ''Newport Titans RLFC'' were formed in 2004 as founder members of the new Rugby League Conference Welsh Division.
