Dinan Léhon Football Club is a French football club based in the communes of Dinan and Léhon in the Bretagne region. The club currently plays in the Championnat National 2 from 2023–24, the fourth division of French football, after achieving promotion from the Championnat National 3 in the 2022–23 season. History The club was founded in 2003, through the merger of ASC Léhon and Stade Dinanais. It won promotion to the national level divisions for the first time in 2010. Dinan (; ) is a walled Breton town and a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department in northwestern France. On 1 January 2018, the former commune of Léhon was merged into Dinan. Geography Its geographical setting is exceptional. Instead of nestling on the valley floor like Morlaix, most urban development has been on the hillside overlooking the river Rance. The area alongside the river is known as the "port of Dinan", and is connected to the town by steep streets: Rue Jerzual and its continuation outside the city walls, the Rue Petit Fort. The 2022-23 Championnat National 3 is the sixth season of the fifth tier in the French football league system in its current format. The competition is contested by 168 clubs split geographically across 12 groups of 14 teams.
