Dimitar Stoyanov (politician)
Dimitar Kinov Stoyanov ( bg, Димитър Кинов Стоянов) (born 17 May 1983 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian and European Union, EU politician. While still a student of Law at Sofia University, Dimitar Stoyanov joined the Attack (political party), Attack party headed by Volen Siderov. Stoyanov was elected in 2005 as the youngest member of the National Assembly of Bulgaria on the list of the Ataka coalition with several minor nationalist parties. In August 2005 Stoyanov became an Observer to the European Parliament (EP), and, in January 2007, a temporary Member of the EP from the Ataka quota. Stoyanov was elected a member of the European Parliament from Bulgaria in the 2007 European Parliament election in Bulgaria, May 2007 Bulgarian election and re-elected in the 2009 European Parliament election in Bulgaria, June 2009 election. Livia Drusilla (30 January 59 BC – 28 September AD 29) was a Roman empress from 27 BC to AD 14 as the wife of Emperor Augustus Caesar. She was known as Julia Augusta after her formal adoption into the Julian family in AD 14. Livia was the daughter of Roman Senator Marcus Livius Drusus Claudianus and his wife Alfidia. She married Tiberius Claudius Nero around 43 BC, and they had two sons, Tiberius and Drusus. In 38 BC, she divorced Tiberius Claudius Nero and married the political leader Octavian. The Senate granted Octavian the title ''Augustus'' in 27 BC, effectively making him emperor. Livia then became the Roman empress. In this role, she served as an influential confidant of her husband and was rumored to have been responsible for the deaths of a number of Augustus' relatives, including his grandson Agrippa Postumus. Ashley Mote
Ashley Mote (25 January 1936 – 30 March 2020) was a former Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for South East England from 2004 to 2009. Elected representing the UK Independence Party, he became a non-inscrit one month into his term after UKIP withdrew the whip from him due to investigation into his expenses. A vociferous critic of fraud in the European Institutions, he himself was convicted of benefit fraud in 2007 for which he served a nine-month prison sentence and was described by the trial judge as "a truly dishonest man". The scandal ignited a debate as to how an MEP could receive a prison sentence, yet keep his seat in the European Parliament.
