Dieter Burdenski
Dieter Burdenski (born 26 November 1950) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Early and family life Born in Bremen, Germany, Dieter Burdenski is the father of Fabian Burdenski (1991–) and the son of Herbert Burdenski (1922–2001), who was a German international himself. An outfield player, unlike his son, Herbert Burdenski was capped five times (two goals) by Sepp Herberger, playing just two of these five games after World War II. Converting a penalty in West Germany's first post-war international (against Switzerland on 22 November 1950), Dieter Burdenski's father became the first ever goalscorer for the Federal Republic of Germany. In sports, a reserve team is a team composed of players under contract to a club but who do not normally play in matches for the first team. The Regionalliga Nord ( en, Regional League North) is the fourth tier of the German football league system in the states of Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Bremen and Hamburg. Sanny Åslund
John Sanny Åslund (born 29 August 1952) is a Swedish former football coach and former player. As a player, he represented Degerfors IF, AIK, Espanyol, and Werder Bremen during a career that spanned between 1971 and 1982. A full international between 1977 and 1979, he won five caps and scored two goals for the Sweden national team and was a part of their 1978 FIFA World Cup squad. As a coach, he most notably managed AIK and IFK Norrköping. Allsvenskan (; en, the All-Swedish, also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan, en, the Football All-Swedish) is a Swedish professional league for men's association football clubs. Oliver Reck (born 27 February 1965) is a German football manager and former player. In a 20-year professional career, he played as a goalkeeper and was best known for his stints with Werder Bremen and Schalke 04, for whom he appeared in more than 500 official games combined, 471 in the Bundesliga alone. Club career Reck started his professional career with Kickers Offenbach in the 1983–84 Bundesliga; he played 18 matches as his team were relegated. In 1985, he joined SV Werder Bremen, being the side's undisputed starter for 11 of his 13 seasons, while also being instrumental in the club's conquests, which included two leagues and the 1992 Cup Winners' Cup. Otto Rehhagel (; born 9 August 1938) is a German former football coach and player. Rehhagel is one of only two people who, as player and manager combined, has participated in over 1,000 Bundesliga matches (the other being Jupp Heynckes). In the Bundesliga, he holds the records for the most victories (387), most draws (205), most losses (228), and his teams have scored the most goals (1,473) and conceded more (1,142) than any other. Günter Bernard (born 4 November 1939) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is the son of Robert Bernard who was a German international football player himself. Club career Bernard was born in Schweinfurt, Germany. The Bundesliga scandal (''der Bundesliga-Skandal'') refers to the malicious, for-profit manipulation of games in the 1970–71 German football championship season. History The manipulation of games was revealed when the president of Kickers Offenbach, Horst-Gregorio Canellas, presented an audio-tape to DFB officials and a few journalists at his 50th birthday garden-party. In that tape, several players, including German internationals Bernd Patzke and Manfred Manglitz, could be heard offering to let themselves be bribed to help Offenbach avoid relegation. The chief prosecutor of the DFB, Hans Kindermann, found out that, amongst others, the 17 April 1971 game between FC Schalke and Arminia Bielefeld that ended 0–1, had been "sold" (or thrown) by Schalke's players and the board of directors.
