Diego Ignacio López (born 14 February 1996) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career López began his career with Unión Sunchales. After making three appearances as they won promotion from Torneo Federal B in 2014, he made his bow in Torneo Federal A on 29 March 2015 during a draw with Vélez de San Ramón. In his second season, López scored his first senior goal against Defensores de Pronunciamiento. The 2016–17 campaign saw López score thirteen times, including braces over Defensores de Belgrano and Gimnasia y Tiro. Agropecuario, 2016–17 champions, signed López in July 2017, ahead of their season in Primera B Nacional. A twenty-three minute cameo against Atlético de Rafaela gave López his pro debut. Sunchales, Santa Fe
Sunchales is a city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It has 21,304 inhabitants per the . It lies in the center-west of the province, from the provincial capital Santa Fe, on National Route 34. Sunchales is located in the most fertile part of Argentina, at the core of the Humid Pampa, and within the so-called "central milk basin", which manufactures most of the country's production of dairy and exports it through the ports on the Paraná River (mainly Rosario and San Lorenzo). It is an important station of the Nuevo Central Argentino railway. The town was the starting point of SanCor, a dairy cooperative and the leader in its field in Argentina. The 2015, was the 2º Torneo Federal A season since it became part of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champion will be promoted to Primera B Nacional. 40 teams competed. The regular season began on March 20 and ended on December 10. The 2019–20 Argentine Torneo Federal A, was the seventh season of the Torneo Federal A, the regionalised third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champions are promoted to Primera B Nacional. 30 teams competed in the league, 25 returning from the 2018–19 season, one team that was relegated from Primera B Nacional and four teams promoted from the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. The regular season began on 1 September 2019 and was expected to end in June 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Argentine Football Association suspended the tournament on 17 March 2020.
