''Dhoon'' (Tune or Passion) is a 1953 Bollywood film directed by M. Kumar. The film was produced by Silver Kings, a production company formed by Kumar and his then wife, actress Pramila. The film stars Raj Kapoor, Nargis, Motilal, Kumar, Pramila, E. Bilmoria, Leela Mishra and Kamal Mehra. Mehra was a lesser known comedian who started his career in 1951 with ''Naujawan''. He went on to act in several films before starting his own production company Pride Of India under which he made films like '' Kismat'' (1968), '' Mahal'' (1969) and '' Naami Chor'' (1977). Mahal (1969 Film)
''Mahal'' () is a 1970 Indian mystery thriller film that stars Dev Anand, Asha Parekh, and Farida Jalal. The music was composed by Kalyanji Anandji. It was supposed to be released in 1969 but it was delayed and released in 1970. At the box office it was not successful. Plot Dev Anand (Rajesh) is a simple and poor driver-cum-assistant to a rich boss (Abhi Bhattacharya) in Kolkata. He is hard pressed for money for his sister's wedding, when out of the blue a stranger offers him money in return for playing an impostor of a brother-in-law for a dying old man in Darjeeling who owns a palace and of course has millions worth of property. Esther Victoria Abraham (30 December 1916 – 6 August 2006), better known by her stage name Pramila, was an Indian model, actress and first woman film producer in the Hindi film industry. She is also well known for winning the first Miss India pageant in 1947. Personal life Pramila was born in 1916 in Calcutta (now Kolkata) to a Baghdadi Jewish family. Zohrabai Ambalewali (1918 – 21 February 1990) was an Indian classical singer and playback singer in Hindi cinema in the 1930s and 1940s. She was considered one of the most popular female playback singers of early and mid 1940s. She is best known for her contralto or low voice range singing in the film songs, "Ankhiyan Milake Jiyaa Bharmaake" and "Aai Diwali, Aai Diwali" in 1944 hit ''Rattan'' (1944), with music by Naushad, and "Uran Khatole Pe Ud Jaoon", duet with Shamshad Begum in ''Anmol Ghadi'' (1946), also under Naushad's music direction.
