Albanian Language
Albanian ( endonym: or ) is an Indo-European language and an independent branch of that family of languages. It is spoken by the Albanians in the Balkans and by the Albanian diaspora, which is generally concentrated in the Americas, Europe and Oceania. With about 7.5 million speakers, it comprises an independent branch within the Indo-European languages and is not closely related to any other modern Indo-European language. Dhimitër Anagnosti
Dhimitër Anagnosti (born 23 January 1936) is an Albanian film director of the 20th century. He was a member of the Parliament of Albania in the 1990s and a Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. For his contribution in film, he received the People's Artist of Albania medal. In 2011, former president Bamir Topi accredited him the "Honor of the Nation" order, sq, Urdhri "Nderi i Kombit". Early life Anagnosti was born on January 23, 1936 in Vuno, a village in the Himara municipality, District of Vlorë Albania. After graduating the ''Ali Demi'' high school in Vlorë, he pursued his studies and graduated as a film director in Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography of Moscow. In 1961, along with Viktor Gjika, Anagnosti directed the film, ''Njeriu kurrë nuk vdes'' ( en, The Man Never Dies), using as a script a short story from American writer, Ernest Hemingway. Dhimitër Kacimbra
Dhimitër Kacimbra (1875–1950) was an Albanian lawyer and politician who served as the second chairman of the National Council of Albania from 25 September 1920 to 15 November 1920. Early life Kacimbra was born in 1875 in Përmet, a small town in southeastern Albania. After attending a local Greek school, he went on to study for two years at the Faculty of Justice, University of Istanbul. Between 1903 and 1908, Kacimbra served as a lawyer in Meçovë and also taught Ottoman Turkish in Greek schools. From 1908 to 1912, he became a member of the initial courts in Margëlliç, Vlorë and Himarë. Five years later he served as a notary public in Përmet. Dhimitër Shuteriqi
Dhimitër Shuteriqi (26 July 1915 ‒ 22 July 2003) was an Albanian scholar, literary historian, and writer. He participated in the anti-fascist National Liberation Movement. After the war he was a member of the People's Assembly and one of the founders and later president of the Albanian League of Writers and Artists. In addition to a series of books and novels, he has published numerous volumes of textbooks, especially those of the History of Albanian Literature for high schools. Life Dhimitër S. Shuteriqi was born in Elbasan in a patriotic and intellectual family. Dhimitër Mborja
Dhimitër Mborja Emanoili (1884–1945) was an Albanian politician, businessman and benefactor. He was one of the signatories of the Albanian Declaration of Independence as a representative of the Albanian community of Romania. Life Dhimitër Mborja was born in Mborje, modern Korçë District (then part of the Manastir Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire) in 1884. At the age of sixteen, with his father, Viskë and his brothers emigrated to Bucharest. Their house in Mborje was donated in order to house the Albanian-language school of the village. In 1908 he joined the ''Dituria'' association of Korçë. Mborja emigrated to Bucharest where his name appears as the owner of a "Carpati" club and the leader of the Albanian community there. On November 5, 1912, he was elected by the Albanian community of Bucharest to become a representative of the Albanians of Romania in the assembly of Vlorë, where he signed the Albanian Declaration of Independence as "D. Emanuel".

Dhimitër Zografi
Dhimitër Zografi (1878–1945) was one of the signatories of Albanian Declaration of Independence. Early life and career Zografi was born in Korçë, in the Manastir Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire (present-day Albania) in 1878. At the end of the 19th century he emigrated to Romania. In 1906 he participated in founding the patriotic association of the Albanians from Bucharest "Bashkimi-Unirea". He was one of the organizers of the Albanian colony in meeting that occurred in Bucharest in early November 1912. He was elected as a delegate of the Albanian Colony in Romania to participate in the Albanian Declaration of Independence. In December 1912, along with Dhimitër Mborja, Dhimitër Emanoili, he went to Brindisi and then to Korçë and from there to Romania. He protested the decisions of the Conference of Paris and its injustice on the Albanian people and is the organizer of the signatories of a petition against the Conference in June 1919. Dhimitër Orgocka (24 October 1936 – 1 January 2021) was an Albanian film and theater actor and director, and People's Artist of Albania for his artistical merits. Personal life He was born in 1936 in Korçë, Albania, when Zog I was King of Albania, and graduated in the Faculty of Albanian Language in the University of Tirana. He was married to Dhorkë Orgocka, a Merited Artist of Albania actress. He died of cerebral hemorrhage. Dhimitër Xhuvani (1934–2009) was an Albanian writer and screenwriter. Biography Xhuvani was born in 1934 in Pogradec. His father, Kostaq Xhuvani, was a respected teacher from Elbasan. In 1944, during World War II, his family fled from Pogradec and took refuge in Mokër, where they stayed until their country was liberated, after which they moved to Elbasan. After finishing medical high-school he worked in the rural hospitals of Librazhd, Peqin, Gramsh, and Cërrik. Dhimitër Pasko ( ro, Dimitrie Pascu; 13 September 1907 – 4 May 1967) was a well-known Albanian writer, literary critic and translator. Along with Ernest Koliqi he is considered as the founder of modern Albanian prose; in Albanian literature his pen name for which he gained fame was Mitrush Kuteli. Biography Mitrush Kuteli was born Dhimitër Pasko in the town of Pogradec at the shores of Lake of Ohrid, son of Pandeli and Polikseni.
