Radheshyam Sharma (5 January 1936 – 9 September 2021) was a Gujarati language poet, novelist, short story writer, critic and compiler from the state of Gujarat, India. He is known in Gujarati literature for his experimental novels ''Fero'' (1968) and '' Swapnatirtha'' (1979). His other significant works include ''Aansu Ane Chandaranu'' (1963), and ''Gujarati Navalkatha'' (with Raghuvir Chaudhari; 1974), a work of literary criticism on Gujarati novels. Sharma was awarded the Gujarati literary honours Ranjitram Suvarna Chandrak, in 2004, and Dhanji Kanji Gandhi Suvarna Chandrak, in 1995. Bhanuprasad Moolshankar Pandya (24 April 1932 – 9 April 2022) was an Indian Gujarati-language poet and literary critic from Gujarat, India. For his contribution, he received Kumar Suvarna Chandrak (1969), Narsinh Mehta Award (2011), Kavishwar Dalpatram Award (2011), and Dhanji Kanji Gandhi Suvarna Chandrak (2016). Biography Bhanuprasad Pandya was born on 24 April 1932 in Tori, Amreli, Gujarat in an audichya sahastra Zalavadi Brahmins family to his mother Shivkunwarbahen Pandya and his father Moolshankar Pandya, a schoolteacher and principal, from whome he inherited literary bent of mind. Pandya completed his schooling in Amreli, and passed matriculation exam in 1954. Dhruv Bhatt (Gujarati: ધ્રુવ ભટ્ટ) is a Gujarati language novelist and poet from Gujarat, India. Life Dhruv Bhatt was born on 8 May 1947 in Ningala village of Bhavnagar State (now Bhavnagar district, Gujarat) to Prabodhray Bhatt and Harisuta Bhatt. Harikrishna Pathak
Harikrishna Pathak is a Gujarati poet, short story writer, editor and children's writer from Gujarat, India. Life Pathak was born on 5 August 1938 at Botad (now in Gujarat, India) to Monghiben and Ramchandra. His family was from Bholad village in Ahmedabad district. He matriculated in 1956. He completed his B. Sc. from Gujarat University in 1961. He worked as a teacher at Songadh near Bhavnagar in 1961–62. In 1963, he joined Department of Revenues, Government of Gujarat as an assistant. Jayant Gokaldas Gadit ( gu, જયંત ગોકળદાસ ગાડીત) was a Gujarati novelist, critic and professor from Gujarat, India. He received the Dhanji Kanji Gandhi Suvarna Chandrak in 2008 and was awarded the Gujarat Sahitya Akademi prize twice. Life Gadit was born on 26 November 1938 in Kandivali, Mumbai to Gokaldas Gadit and Santok. He studied Gujarati and Sanskrit at Gujarat University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1961 and a Master of Arts degree in 1964. In 1974 he received his PhD under Harivallabh Bhayani. Gadit taught at the art colleges of Petlad and Mahudha from 1965 to 1977. Manilal Mohandas Gandhi (28 October 1892 – 5 April 1956) was the second son of Mohandas Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi. Biography Manilal was born in Rajkot, British India, the second of four sons of Mohandas Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi. He had an older brother, Harilal, and two younger brothers, Ramdas and Devdas. Manilal's early years were spent in Rajkot, and it was in 1897 he traveled to South Africa for the first time (his father having moved there several years previously). Ratilal Mohanlal Borisagar (born 31 August 1938) is a Gujarati humourist, essayist and editor from Gujarat, India. Born and educated in Savarkundla, he received a PhD in 1989. After working for some years as a teacher, he joined the state school textbook board until his retirement in 1998. He started his writing career as a story writer, but eventually gained acclaim as a humourist. He published several humour collections and humour novels, including the acclaimed book ''Enjoygraphy''.
