OFB, short for Original Farm Boys, is a British hip hop collective based in Broadwater Farm, London. OFB is one of the most prominent UK drill groups. History Headie One (formerly Headz) and RV (formerly Young RV) are among the most prominent members of the group. They were both originally rappers in Star Gang, a road rap group from the 2000s and an offshoot group from the Tottenham Mandem gang. Kemani Kane Duggan (born 9 May 2001), known professionally as Bandokay (formerly stylized as BandoKay), is a British rapper. He is a member of the UK drill group OFB. Beginning his career in 2018 alongside fellow OFB rappers SJ and Double Lz, Bandokay gained prominence in 2019 after release of '' Frontstreet''. The mixtape peaked at number 36 on the UK Albums Chart and was followed by ''Drill Commandmants'', released in 2021. Early life Kemani Kane Duggan was born on 9 May 2001, in Tottenham, London, England. He is the son of Mark Duggan, who was shot to death by police in 2011. After his father's death, Duggan was looked after by Marcus Knox-Hooke, one of his father's friends. This would lead Knox-Hooke to form a program to look after vulnerable youth in Tottenham. Andre Deer (born 16 December 2002), known professionally as Double Lz (formerly stylized as DoubleLz), is a British rapper and songwriter. He is a member of the UK drill group OFB. Debuting in 2018, he would release two mixtapes - '' Frontstreet'' and ''Drill Commandments'' - alongside Bandokay and SJ in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Career Double Lz released his debut solo single, "Spillings", in May 2018. Irving Ampofo Adjei (born 6 October 1994), known professionally as Headie One (formerly Headz), is a British rapper and singer. In 2018 he released his second solo mixtape, titled ‘''The One’'', which included the single "Know Better" featuring rapper RV, it became an "underground hit". Headie One is a member of the UK drill group OFB and is considered to be a pioneer innovator of the UK drill scene. He is best known for his tracks "18hunna" featuring rapper Dave, " Only You Freestyle" featuring rapper Drake, "Ain't It Different" featuring rappers AJ Tracey and Stormzy and his solo single "Both". 2011 England Riots
The 2011 England riots, more widely known as the London riots, were a series of riots between 6 and 11 August 2011. Thousands of people rioted in cities and towns across England, which saw looting, arson, as well as mass deployment of police and the deaths of five people. The protests started in Tottenham Hale, London, following the death of Mark Duggan, a local man who was shot dead by police on 4 August. Several violent clashes with police followed Duggan's death, along with the destruction of police vehicles, a double-decker bus and many homes and businesses, which rapidly gained the attention of the media. Overnight, looting took place in Tottenham Hale retail park and in nearby Wood Green. Drill Music
Drill is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in Chicago streets in the early 2010s. It is sonically similar to the trap music subgenre and lyrically similar to the gangsta rap subgenre.
