Dezső Novák
Dezső Novák (3 February 1939 – 26 February 2014) was a Hungarian footballer who played as a defender. During his club career he played for Ferencvárosi TC. For the Hungary national team, he participated in the 1964 European Nations' Cup. In three Olympic Games, he also won two gold medals in 1964 and 1968, and a bronze medal in 1960 It is also known as the "Year of Africa" because of major events—particularly the independence of seventeen African nations—that focused global attention on the continent and intensified feelings of Pan-Africanism. Ják
Ják is a village in Vas County, on the western boundary of Hungary. Church of Saint George The parish church of Ják is the most complete Romanesque Church in Hungary. It was originally built as the church of a Benedictine monastery. The village church at that time was a rotunda in front of the façade of the main doorway of Ják church. Both outside and inside the church is adorned with rich sculptures. The 3 naves and 3 apses are formed in a basilica structure. Columnar capitals are sculptured by plant and some animal ornamentation. The rotunda has been built with 4 apses and 2 floors. The Hungarian Order of Merit ( hu, Magyar Érdemrend) is the fourth highest State Order of Hungary. Founded in 1991, the order is a revival of an original order founded in 1946 and abolished in 1949. Its origins, however, can be traced to the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Hungary which existed from 1922 until 1946. In 2011 its official name changed from Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary to Hungarian Order of Merit in accordance with the new Hungarian Constitution. It is awarded in either civilian or military divisions. Since 2011, the Hungarian Order of Saint Stephen is the highest State honour of Hungary.
