Dexter Blackstock
Dexter Anthony Titus Blackstock (born 20 May 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. He played most notably for Queens Park Rangers and Nottingham Forest. Having represented England at youth international level, Blackstock went on to play for the Antigua and Barbuda national team; he qualified through his grandfather, who was born in Antigua. Playing career Southampton Born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, he came through the Oxford United youth system and was then signed by Southampton, who had to pay United compensation of £275,000 as a result. Due to an injury crisis he was brought into the Southampton first team, where he scored a hat-trick against Colchester United in the League Cup in 2004. Ray Jones (footballer Born 1988)
Raymond Barry Bankote Jones (28 August 1988 – 25 August 2007) was an English professional footballer who played as a striker. Jones spent his professional career at Queens Park Rangers, making his debut in the Football League Championship in April 2006. His good form at the start of the following season led to his only international match, for England under-19 against the Netherlands, as well as bids for other clubs to sign him. He totalled six goals in 37 professional matches. Jones died three days before his 19th birthday, when he drove head-on into a bus in London. His club retired his shirt number of 31. An inquest into the accident ruled that had Jones survived, he would have faced charges of causing death by dangerous driving for the deaths of his two passengers. Marc Stephen Griffith Nygaard (born 1 September 1976) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Nygaard started his professional career in SC Heerenveen in 1995. He stayed with Heerenveen until 1997. He was then signed by MVV Maastricht. However, Nygaard only stayed with Maastricht one year before moving back to the Eredivisie in 1998 now playing for Roda JC. Nygaard stayed in Dutch football until 2003. He was then signed by the Italian Serie A side Brescia Calcio. Paul Anthony Furlong (born 1 October 1968) is an English football coach and former professional player who played a striker. He was appointed joint manager of Queens Park Rangers' U23 team in 2021. Kevin Andrew Gallen (born 21 September 1975) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. He notably played in the Premier League for Queens Park Rangers over several seasons, and would have two spells with the Loftus Road club. Gary Patrick Waddock ( ; born 17 March 1962) is a former professional footballer. He is assistant head coach of Cambridge United.
