Devon White (footballer)
Devon White (born 2 March 1964) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. He played as a striker most notably spending a spell in the Premier League for Queens Park Rangers as well as representing six different Football League clubs, Lincoln City, Bristol Rovers, Cambridge United, Notts County, Watford and Shrewsbury Town. He also had a spell in Malta with Naxxar Lions and featured in Non-league football for Arnold Kingswell, Boston United, Shepshed Charterhouse, Grantham and Ilkeston Town. Playing career White began his career in the non-league ranks whilst training as an electrician. In 1984 his talents were spotted by Lincoln City and he moved into the professional game. He spent two seasons with Lincoln, from where he was loaned to Maltese club Naxxar Lions, before dropping back into the non-league ranks with first Boston United and then Shepshed Charterhouse. Gedling is a village in the Gedling district, in Nottinghamshire, England, four miles northeast of Nottingham city centre. Gerry Francis
Gerald Charles James Francis (born 6 December 1951) is an English former footballer and manager. Playing career Francis made his first team debut for Queens Park Rangers against Liverpool in March 1969. He was captain and central midfield player during the 1970s and was a key player in the QPR side, which came close to winning their first-ever league title in 1976. He won 12 caps for the England team between 1974 and 1976, and was captain for eight of those matches. His International career was limited by a persistent back injury. He left QPR for Crystal Palace in 1979, although he subsequently returned to QPR for a 2nd spell, before a move to Coventry City. However this was a time when he suffered injury problems. Lincolnshire Senior Cup
The Lincolnshire Senior County Cup is a football (soccer) competition for senior football clubs in Lincolnshire organised by the Lincolnshire FA. The competition can be traced back to the formation of the Lincolnshire FA at a meeting held at the Queens Hotel in Lincoln on Saturday 17 September 1881 and sixteen teams entered the inaugural Lincolnshire Cup competition with Spilsby the first winners in 1881—82. Spilsby would go on to win the first three competitions and consequently they were allowed to retain the initial trophy.
