Deva (1995 Film)
''Deva'' is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar, starring Vijay, Sivakumar and debutante Swathi. The music is scored by Deva. The film revolves around a couple is deeply in love, but encounters opposition from the woman's father, who is head of the village. The father believes the man is not a suitable partner due to his perceived reputation. The film released on 17 February 1995 and had a successful theatrical run of 100 days in Tamil Nadu. Plot The film is a story of romance that centers around two lovers: Deva ( Vijay) and Bharathi ( Swathi). Swarnalatha (29 April 1973 – 12 September 2010) was an Indian playback singer. She is considered to be as Humming Queen Of India and Nightingale Of Tamil Cinema. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Baashha
''Baashha'' is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language gangster action film written and directed by Suresh Krissna. The film stars Rajinikanth, Nagma and Raghuvaran, with Janagaraj, Devan, Shashi Kumar, Vijayakumar, Anandaraj, Charan Raj, Kitty, Sathyapriya, Shenbaga and Yuvarani in supporting roles. It revolves around an auto-driver who maintains a humble exterior and stays away from violence, but has a dark past which he conceals from his family. During the making of ''Annaamalai'' (1992), Rajinikanth and Krissna discussed a scene from the former's Hindi film ''Hum'' (1991) which was not filmed. Magnasound was an Indian record company that specialized in Indian classical music, Indian rock and Indipop. It was distributed by OMI Music Inc. Shashi Gopal was the managing director of Magnasound. History Shashi Gopal founded Magnasound in 1989 with his wife Kalpana and brother-in-law Madhav Das. The three launched the company with their life savings, which totaled Rs 6 lakhs.
