''December Heat'' ( et, Detsembrikuumus) is a 2008 historic action drama film about the 1924 Estonian coup d'état attempt directed by Asko Kase and starring Sergo Vares and Liisi Koikson. Plot "December 1924. It's only a matter of minutes whether Estonian young independence continues to exist or we become a province with minor importance of big communist Russia. Independence which seems so self-evident today depends at that moment on couple of random coincidences." Ain Lutsepp (born 6 May 1954) is an Estonian actor and politician. Early life and education Born in Tallinn, Ain Lutsepp began his career as a child actor at age thirteen as the character Tõnisson in the 1969 Arvo Kruusement directed Estonian language film '' Kevade'' (English: ''Spring''); a film adaptation of author Oskar Luts' popular 1913 novel of the same name. Tiit Sukk (born 21 November 1974) is an Estonian stage, television, voice, and film actor, director and television presenter. Early life and education Tiit Sukk was born and raised in Jõgeva, Jõgeva County, where he attended primary and secondary schools. He is a 1994 graduate of Jõgeva Gymnasium. Carmen Mikiver (until 1989 Carmen Uibokant; born on 13 January 1964 in Tallinn) is an Estonian actress. In 1989 she graduated from Tallinn Pedagogical Institute in theatrical directing speciality ( et, näitejuhtimise eriala). 1987-1993 and 1996-1998 she worked at Estonian Drama Theatre. Lauri Vahtre
Lauri Vahtre (born 22 March 1960) is an Estonian politician, historian, translator and writer. Education and career Lauri Vahtre was born in Tartu. He graduated from Tartu Secondary School Nr 2 in 1978 and from Tartu University history department in 1984 (1988 PhD). From 1983 to 1985 he worked as a senior research fellow in the Estonian Open Air Museum, then continued his postgraduate studies. From 1988 to 1992 he worked as a senior researcher in the Institute of History of the Estonian Academy of Sciences, from 1989 to 1992 as a senior teacher at the Tartu University.
