Megadeth
Megadeth is an American thrash metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1983 by vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine. Dethklok
Dethklok is a fictional melodic death metal band featured in the Adult Swim animated television series ''Metalocalypse''. The first official Dethklok album was released on September 25, 2007, entitled ''The Dethalbum''. The album debuted at number 21 on ''Billboard'' magazine's Top 200 list. The band released ''Dethalbum II'' on September 29, 2009, and toured with Mastodon, High on Fire and Converge. The band's third album, ''Dethalbum III'', was released on October 16, 2012. The soundtrack to the special episode, '' Metalocalypse: The Doomstar Requiem'' was released on October 29, 2013. A real band was set up in order to perform the band's music in live shows. Jack Deth is the main protagonist in the ''Trancers'' films, which were originally produced by Charles Band of Empire Pictures, and later Full Moon Entertainment, from 1984 to 2013. Jack Deth is a wisecracking police detective in Angel City (formerly Los Angeles) and is portrayed by Tim Thomerson in six out of the seven films, as well as having a cameo appearance in the movie ''Evil Bong''. Richard Carlton Deth is an American neuropharmacologist, a former professor of pharmacology at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and is on the scientific advisory board of the National Autism Association. Deth has published scientific studies on the role of D4 dopamine receptors in psychiatric disorders, as well as the book, ''Molecular Origins of Human Attention: The Dopamine-Folate Connection''. He has also become a prominent voice in the controversies in autism and thiomersal and vaccines, due to his hypothesis that certain children are more at risk than others because they lack the normal ability to excrete neurotoxic metals.
