Derana
Derana TV is a Sri Lankan private entertainment terrestrial television channel broadcasting in Sri Lanka. Launched on 11 October 2005, it is one of the most popular television networks in the country. Its main transmission tower is on the Kikilimana mountain, and coverage is extended nationwide via eight transmission towers. The channel is available on digital medium through Dialog TV, PEO TV and the newly launched OTT platform GLUUOO. Derana broadcasts contemporary content that upholds Sri Lankan values on its "අපේ දේ රැකගෙන, අලුත් දේ අරගෙන" / “Ape De Rakagena, Aluth De Aragena” (Conserve our own and embrace the new) platforms. FM Derana is Free-to-air Sinhala radio channel in Sri Lanka. Established in March 2009, FM Derana broadcasts 24 hours a day and it covers over 95% of the Island. Designed to appeal to a broad cross-section of listeners, FM Derana is leveraged on the strength and success of Derana TV, a strategic consolidation that will revolutionize the media landscape with its simple yet highly entertaining format. ''Deweni Inima'' ( si, දෙවෙනි ඉනිම) is a 2017 Sinhalese Sri Lankan television prime-time soap opera which premiered on 6 February 2017 on TV Derana. The series is directed by Saranga Mendis, produced by Chamika Mendis and written by Saman Edirimunee. It airs every weekday from 8:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. onwards. Plot The main storyline is about two half-brothers, Anuhas Fernando and Awantha Fernando. They both are the sons of well-known business man and cricketer Ravi Fenando. Anuhas lives with his mother Udeni and runs a juice bar. They are very closely associated with Udeni's brother Ananda and his family, including his wife Anusha, elder son Dhanuka and younger daughter Dewmi.
