Derajat
Derajat ( Punjabi/Urdu: ), the plural of the word 'dera', is a cultural region of central Pakistan, located in the region where the provinces of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan meet. Derajat is bound by the Indus River to the east, and the Sulaiman Mountains to the west. The two major cities in the region are Dera Ghazi Khan (southwestern Punjab) and Dera Ismail Khan (southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). The Baloch towns of Dera Bugti, Dera Allah Yar and Dera Murad Jamali are adjacent to Derajat towards the southwest. The people of Derajat are called Derawal, and the varieties of Saraiki they speak are collectively called Derawali dialect, also known locally as ''Hindki''. The Derawal ( Saraiki: ) are a community of people who originated from the Derajat region, Dera jat consists of area east of suleman ranges and west of River Indus and is inhabited by Saraiki speaking Baloch people. Dera Ismail Khan (; bal, , Urdu and skr, , ps, ډېره اسماعيل خان), abbreviated as D.I. Khan, is a city and capital of Dera Ismail Khan District, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is the 37th largest city of Pakistan and fifth largest in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by population. Dera Ismail Khan is situated on the west bank of the Indus River, at its junction with the Gomal River. It is south of the provincial capital Peshawar, and northwest of Multan, Punjab. Saraikis
The Saraikis ( skr, ), are an Indo-Aryan ethnolinguistic group inhabiting parts of central and southeastern Pakistan, primarily in the southern part of the Pakistani province of Punjab They are mainly found in a region of southern Punjab known as Saraikistan, as well as in most parts of Derajat, which is located in the region where southwestern Punjab, southeastern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northeastern Balochistan meet. Derajat is bound by the Indus River to the east and the Sulaiman Mountains to the west. The Saraiki people follow many religions, though most are predominantly followers of Islam. A small minority of Saraikis follow Chistianity, Hinduism and Sikhism. Dera Ghazi Khan
Dera Ghazi Khan (), abbreviated as D.G. Khan, is a city in the southwestern part of Punjab, Pakistan. It is the 19th largest city of Pakistan by population. Lying west of the Indus River, it is the headquarters of Dera Ghazi Khan District and Dera Ghazi Khan Division. Dera Allah Yar ( ur, ) is a city and the headquarters of the Jaffarabad District located in Balochistan, Pakistan. It is situated at the distance of 300 km from provincial capital Quetta. The city formerly was known as Jhatpat. The city was named after the assassination of their Political Leader Mir Allahyar Khan Khosa.
