Der Androjäger
''Der Androjäger'' was a German sci-fi comedy television series which aired for the first time on 9 August 1982. 26 episodes were produced in total by Bavaria Film Studios. An alien transport space ship has lost androids on Earth. They survived the crash and try to integrate in human society. The location is obviously Munich although this is not explicitly stated in the series. Protagonist Dandore (Lutz Mackensy) is made looking human and starts working for the police. In this disguise, he can search for the androids. They appear human, but are given away by their behavior: each android is programmed for a specific task. At the end of each episode, Dandore alias police officer Majer sends an android home to the alien planet. Majer is assisted by a talking microcomputer and reports to Airavab Reileta (Charlotte Kerr), his superior to whom he communicates via a device hidden in a mirror. Bavaria Film Studios
Bavaria Studios are film production studios located in Munich, the capital of the region of Bavaria in Germany, and a subsidiary of Bavaria Film. History The studios were constructed in the suburb of Geiselgasteig in 1919 shortly after the First World War. During their early years they were known as the Emelka Studios, while Geiselgasteig has also often been used to refer to them. They provided a provincial rival to the emerging dominance of Berlin studios, particularly the UFA conglomerate. Bavaria Film took over the studios, and became the dominant non-Berlin production company. Charlotte Kerr
Charlotte Kerr (29 May 1927 – 28 December 2011) was a German director, film producer, actress, writer and journalist. She first performed on stage in Fritz Kortner’s version of Schiller’s ''Don Carlos'' in 1951. She became well known for her television role as commander of the spaceship Hydra in the '' Raumpatrouille'' series and for her appearances in the films of , including '' Fleisch'' (1979). In 1971, she was a member of the jury at the 21st Berlin International Film Festival. In 1983, during the filming of a film about the Greek minister Melina Mercouri, Kerr met the Swiss poet Friedrich Dürrenmatt. They became close after discussing his latest play '' Achterloo'' and were married in 1984. The two collaborated on the film '' Portrait eines Planeten'' and the play '' Rollenspiele''.
